Aren't you around 20 anyway? If I remember correctly, the ruling is that you can date within half your age plus 7 and it's considered socially acceptable (think I already mentioned that in here).

So does she at least qualify for that old xkcd law?

I think in Canada its 16 if the partner is within 2 years, then at 18 it no longer matters.

I do know however that in Canada it is still a federal criminal offence for someone under 18 to have anal sex.
