Now some say it's forbidden, others would do it themselves and many would say it's not for them but couldn't give a toss about others doing it... But what I'm wondering, is why are 7 stories about incest the 7 most read stories of all time in the Literotica database? Is it really the biggest fetish out there?
There could be a bunch of reasons, it's one of the biggest taboos that society has created and that forbiddenness will turn people on, some people like it because it shows a kind of closeness in a family that they didn't have. Possibly because they want some kind of control over somebody who constantly controlled them. And of course others just plain just can't explain it.
hmm, yeah I've read a few now and I have to admit, they're actually some of the best written stories in literotica IMHO so they're covered there. I think they also go much closer to the romantic novels believe it or not. Most of the others just have women and men getting turned on and going for it the full hog. But the incest ones keep an air of longing and desire, yet resistance to continue. The romance novels are like this, in that they generally have a relationship where either both parties consider there to be some reason for them not to get together and they struggle to get past that barrier, or one party isn't interested and the other struggles to win them over while the resistant party begins a struggle to figure out if it really is right for them to be with the other.
Essentially it's all about a level of resistance to continue despite urges and desires. The close relationship already exists in the family sense, and the story can usually progress to some extent, starting with various flirting, moving onto the family members spying on each other, then masturbating together before they can't hold back from oral sex and eventually sex it's self. In the case of full family orgies, its along the same lines but with each family member, giving into their desires for the other while hiding it from all other members until all the family members discover one another and just come out and have a great big orgy.
Raising some eyebrows and causing some WTF comments from many of you, I'm sure but basically the whole incest taboo seems to allow for some very good story lines in erotic literature which focuses almost entirely on the sex. It's not necessarily that everyone is turned on by the idea of Incest, heck I have a sister and it's not something I've ever considered, but it just seems to allow for a lot of sex and/or sexual tension without completely destroying any chance for a story line.
