The combination of the two *evil and smart* is probably the biggest turn on for me still.

For me I often think evil characters are hot becuase they're sophisticated. Take Hannible Lector. Yeah he's a sick fucker, but you would be hard pressed to find someone who's more well read. Provided he didn't eat you, he would provide exellent dinner coversation. Or the Goblin King, he's a wackjob, he kidnaps a helpless baby and tries to suduce an impressionalbe young girl, but he wears the most killer outfits ever.

Villains usually get the best cloaths, the best houses and the best lines. Heros are all too often boring everymen who doggedly slave to the status quo, saving the world so it can remain just as boring as it's always been. Villains make things happen, and take risks. In fact, if it wasn't for the pesky thing about killing everone around them, you would almost pick the villian as the preferable role every time.

Oh, yeah- and power is sexy too. And evil characters tend to be more powerful on average.

Well, I think the main reason that the air-heads get a lot of guys is due to those guys lacking a lot of self confidence, and are most likely not the sharpest tools either...
The only man who feels intimidated by an intelligent AND beautyful woman is one who isn't capable of beeing independant and thus (According to my definition.) not capable of maintaining true love since they need to dominate others to feel in control of their own lives.

Villains are proactive, heroes are reactive. If a hero tries to me more proactive, he gets labeled as a villain or anti-hero (see: Punisher).

Chaotic *insert proper evil/neutral/good here* for the win! I prefer true neutral though, anti-heroes are the best heroes, they get shit done, sometimes collateral damage is necessary.

Don't know what that means but I was walking home and thought of buying pornagraphy the night before last. I was basically stranded after all the buses stopped so I had to walk home and a Plaid Pantry (basically 7-eleven but they sell smut,) was on the way. Then I realised that I still don't have my picture ID and would be carded. So I am 27 year old whith a full beard but I am still effectively too young to buy porn. When did this happen? When did every store everywere start carding for everything every single time? Half the time it makes no sense: If I am younger then 18 I would probably be in Hishcool right? What hischool kid has a full beard? Seriously- I have never in my life seen a Hishcool kid with a full beard. If I did, I would let him buy porn at my store such a person would probably be 7 feet tall, chops wood for a living and drives a Harley. And that's fucking aswsome and scary and not the kind of person I would say no to. When did people just default to not believing you are who you say you are? Like just becuase I am not carying a plastic card that somehow means I am a magical doppleganger who is imersonating myself so I can be the one who... has to feed my fish and clean my kitchen? It's not like I have any money what so ever. Stealing my identity would probably make you poorer. It makes no sense, if a person steals my identity don't try to stop them, just walk away slowly and don't make any sudden movements becuase that person is probably batshit insane.

Ronin: I feel you. I always, -always- get carded. And not only that, they always do it with this smug, 'you-think-you-can-fool-me-you-little-kid'-expression on their face, and when they see my ID they suddenly turn very humble.

...Except recently, when they started not believing that it is me on my ID photo. I was 13 when the picture was taken, fatter, pimpli-er, long-haired and with glasses. I don't blame them, but I'm sick of going through that ridiculous quoestioning every time I want to go to a club or buy a beer.

I can understand why you people are annoyed about getting carded, but these places get some serious fines, they might even lose they're license to sell said product, slapped on them if they sell to minor, at least here in the states, I can only assume they're just as bad in other places.

It is silly, but as Pozf said, some places face fines. I know especially for cigarettes and alcohol, it's a "look under 30" type of deal.

yep i just had to take a huge lame-o test that was about not selling liquor to minors. we have to card everyone who looks under 30 or else. and we have a really good location cuz our store out sold the liquor store across the street till they had to close. it wouldn't be cool if we couldn't sell liquor at all any more. but anyways that sounds kinda like it should be a rant/rage issue. not very sexxy.

Speaking from what my brother tells me, it's probably because a lot of people give them shit about it, so they might just assume you're going to too. Also if you look really young *underage young* there gong to be skeptical to begin with.

It also depends what kind of person you get for it, people at the 7-11 my brother works at are really nice about it.

oh...wow, yeah I really did see that very differently.
