Hmmm Peta. Have you heard the story about the girl who worked at the pet shop and saw the reptiles being mistreated? She called peta and the representive said "Oh sorry, people don't really care about reptiles. Do you have any cute animals like bunnies? If so maybe you can not feed them for a while and then we can defenently get some publicity down there". She lost her faith in the organization after that.

PETA are also hypocritical - For example, they're against the use of pig insulin to treat diabetics. Diabetics like their founder and leader, who takes pig insulin multiple times a day to survive.
