DOWN HILL SKI'S!!! How dare you Madam, these are Atomic Telemark ski's with full cable and three pin bindings. Now go hang your head in shame and stand in the corner until I tell you to come out again.

well these things are not down hill ski's but free heel skis for ski touring/mountaineering.

Exactly, telemark skiis are the precursor to downhill skiis, and sort of a hybrid between cross country and downhill skiis. They were invented in Norway where the difficoult mountaineous terrain made ordinary cross country skiis unwieldy in the steep slopes, and equally steep climbs. Thus the Telemark ski was invented with a similiar binding as cross country skiis but trading length for width so that the skiis became more agile and stable under those conditions while still retaining some of the cross country skii's properties to eat ground on the glacier plateaus and in the valleys.

Understandable, But you know you can set them to private, so nobody other than somebody with your password *or going from the link you could put up* would see them
