Well, they are only bullet resistant. A vest is rated to a certain amount of hits with a specific calibre. Shooting someone more than that and the vest probably wont hold.

"Future Weapons" and commercials are hardly anything to base facts on :P It is true that it is better at stopping bullets. However, it doesn't really stop them. It just removes a bullets penetrating power. The inertia of the bullet is still there and since the vest is flexible, it is carried through turning your insides to mush with pure kinetic energy. A SAPI plate which is a ceramic plate fails after a number of shots, but distributes the kinetic energy of a bullet over a larger area so the person who is shot will feel a punch to the chest, but the innards are still intact. Id pick a SAPI any day over a Dragon Skin.

and of course a person with a larger torso area would be injured less from a bullet (although at those levels of force the difference would be nigh unnoticeable)

Indeed. Also, the Dragon Skin is heavier for the protection it gives so i see no reason to pick that over any other body armour.

i think the easiest way to not get hit by a bullet though, would simply be not being where it is aimed

That is not always possible though. And sometimes bullets are unpredictable.

hehe, on another forum with a lot more mods we once got over 100, i didn't have the heart to tell the guys that where playing that the mods where toying with them (it was a challenge to get to 200 i think), which  knew cause i was talking with the mods on skype when they where discussing when to reset...

what we need is to find out when oddball is busy with something and get as many people to post as possible, we managed to get like 60 on IES that way, they freaked when they realised
