Okay, so on a more serious note that most of my posts, I was on my way home, and I happened to be present at (But not involved in thankfully) a three vehicle wreck. It wasn't very pretty, I ditched my bike and ran over to see if there was anything I could do to help. Turns out, not much.
I've got plenty of experience in treating sprains, burns, and general lacerations, but it's all been learned "the hard way" so to speak, because I've volunteered at a couple of clinics.
I'm wondering if there's any EMTs/Paramedics in the crowd here.
I've been meaning to take a CPR class for years, but some how have never gotten around to it. So my question to any paramedics out there is what kind of classes do I need to take to be a better prepared good Samaritan? I'm not looking at becoming an EMT or anything, but here I was, in the shoes of first responder, and I'd like to be able to better fill those shoes next time.
