There will probably be a manta at this one too.
Something that gave me a cool idea for superheavy flyers, jump infantry and flying transports.
How about a special rule saying that jump infantry in a flying transport may deep strike onto a hostile super-heavy flyer as if deep striking into dangerous terrain but with each 1/2/3 result causing a casualty (For each casualty, the super-heavy would take one glancing hit) then the jump infantry would get one round of cc attacks at the super-heavy, hitting on 5+. In the jump infantry's next movement they would compulsory deep strike onto the battlefield with a second normal dangerous terrain test on the ground.
The first dangerous terrain test representing the difficoulty at jumping from one flying vehicle to another without mis-judging distance, velocity and the effect on a flyer hitting what would essentially be a flock of very aggressive 600lbs 'birds'.
The second dangerous terrain test representing the dangers and difficoulties arising from beeing swept off of the outside of a flying combat vehicle, trying to avoid getting caught in the engine wash, avoiding arcing indirect fire trajectories, flak, shockwaves, aircraft, ordnance coming in from orbit, etc...
