..So, I'm at the grocery store with Auryn picking out some wine. And i find these little 4 packs of moscato wine..and I'm like "that sounds good!" So i pick it up and he starts freaking out and trying to grab the 4 pack and put his mouth on it.. Thinking it's his bottle XD.. Poor guy.. When i put it back he got even more upset.. I had to run away!

I mean that in scotland, all they admit to have of alcohol is ale and whiskey and neither is as kind to a baby as a french wine :P

.. What's wrong w/ being Scottish? I find Scottish men in particular very attractive.. they tend to have some of the best body / facial hair :D

And personally.. I'd think anyone w/ the name Oddball to be not quite right in the head.. considering the name in general.. <_<

So in other news.. i finally got a decent nights rest..and so did my son. We've been cooped up being sick all week again @_@. So i turned off the heat yesterday because it was int he 50's and opened up all the windows, hopefully to blow some of this illness out of the house!

and you forgot about the Haggis hunting as well Ryuu..............................But on a happier note I got my first draw at Warhammer 40K last night  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ok I ended up with the remains of a tactical squad with a bunch of blood thirsty Death Company outside the door of my objective at the end of turn seven, but I count that as win, I still held my point and denied it to the enemy  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

There will probably be a manta at this one too.

Something that gave me a cool idea for superheavy flyers, jump infantry and flying transports.
How about a special rule saying that jump infantry in a flying transport may deep strike onto a hostile super-heavy flyer as if deep striking into dangerous terrain but with each 1/2/3 result causing a casualty (For each casualty, the super-heavy would take one glancing hit) then the jump infantry would get one round of cc attacks at the super-heavy, hitting on 5+. In the jump infantry's next movement they would compulsory deep strike onto the battlefield with a second normal dangerous terrain test on the ground.
The first dangerous terrain test representing the difficoulty at jumping from one flying vehicle to another without mis-judging distance, velocity and the effect on a flyer hitting what would essentially be a flock of very aggressive 600lbs 'birds'.
The second dangerous terrain test representing the dangers and difficoulties arising from beeing swept off of the outside of a flying combat vehicle, trying to avoid getting caught in the engine wash, avoiding arcing indirect fire trajectories, flak, shockwaves, aircraft, ordnance coming in from orbit, etc...

CRUD!  Alright, a week ago I'm cutting the hedges and get to the last one when all of a sudden I spot this nest in it just after I've cut the top off.  I check it and sure enough there's an egg in there and it still feels relatively warm.  I put the branch back (it's been supported by a few others) duct tape the thing back and sure enough I see the mother has later returned and all is well.

I'm sitting here on the comp and I suddenly here some paniced ruffling of feathers and stuff outside.  I get out there and sure enough there's a pile of feather's where once there was a bird and the egg is now alone.  I've brought the egg inside, initially put it under a lamp but quickly read that its bad 'cos they need specific heat and humidity so I've held it in my palm while looking up some more info on the web and I can feel the little chick moving inside... and there's a slight break in the egg.

It seems to have calmed down on the idea of breaking out early (probably just all my moving it around) but what the heck am I going to do with this thing?  Hopefully I can wait 'till the morning and call some animal rescue mob that I can take it to.

Wow! Looks like Brion's messing around with the website right now.

I do like the slightly bigger text for the blog posts, but its probably just one, single, size too big.
