Welcome back Brion!

Heh, if it's so easy to regrow every part of the body then it gives a nice feature to abuse main character in future who may loose some limbs again since everything may be fixed...
Also May's missing finger too will regrow?
She will loose her love reminder ;)
Well, since her missing finger is(Was?) on the right side, it's already gone(though the digestive tract, or what's left of it, of bloody mary) and since they are re-growing the arm by mirroring the uninjured left side, unless she speaks up, she'll most likely have her finger back.

Unless the finger missing is on her left side, in which case, she might end up with TWO missing fingers.

Also, we won't have to remind brion about the missing arm, which is generally meant to be missing, but sometimes isn't.

Good to see Brion is back.

But: OOOOOOOOOHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh are we going to see May's arm hacked off so her left arm can be re-grown?  ;D ;D

Heh. That would be a trip. "Yes, to duplicate the missing arm, we'll need to temporarily remove the remaining arm. Nothing to worry about though, she will be comfortably under an anti-pain spell the whole time."

I think Bern might be a bit uncomfortable with the process. :D

All things Sorcery bother Bern.

And it seems Ms. Bureaucrat isn't a total tool after all.

Living and working where she does, she's probably never met anyone with such an aversion to all things magical. That would make it hard for her to see it from Bern's perspective. Combine that with an all-business attitude, and her demeanor kind of makes sense.

That Bern is prudish even to the point of disliking nudity with doctors is a little surprising.

Bern did not mention sex (on screen) at all. She merely asked if it was necessary. Considering that the chest is an universally recognized erogenous zone on women, and Maytag will be operated on by a male doctor, it IS a valid concern.  Thankfully, the woman in glasses recognizes this.

I'm glad Bern is still herself.
After everything she gone through by magic so far it's no wonder she could become even more paranoid.
Really it's scary seeing it from Bern perspective what magic can do with normal people and you can't do anything against it.
If Bern would be put under Fata's illusions she would never escape it, not mentioning bath incident where she acted against her sexuality and was almost violated, or how Suspiria raped her mentally with truth spell.
I really hope Bern will get in future some means of defence/resistance against magic.

I guess bitchy wizard woman is not that bad. Although Bernedette doesn't look 100% convinced.

This was the whole point of getting the other sword, wasn't it? Or am I forgetting exactly how that was supposed to work?

Bernadette - always thinks sex when she sees female skin.

Well... In her defence, Bern's experience with quite a number of sorcerers and magick generally leads her to think of them as perverted.  Glyph catching an eye-full, Suspira viewing Maytag naked for art, Voulger and Derrick's attempted rape and the whole spa bath event with Danzig possessing Glyph to have sex with her under the influence of enchantment.

I half get the impression that Bell's response to the question even suggests that she's well aware of a number of sorcerers who would get women to remove their clothes for magick procedures when it isn't necessary or helpful.

On a side note. The entire idea of how the flesh is being grown as a mirror copy fasinates me.  I'm even tempted to wonder if Bloody Mary's old body, and unadjusted brain, still exist somewhere.  I'm almost certain that this information will come into play later.  Probably covering the idea of creating alternate limbs and attaching them as well.  This almost appears to be what happened in Bloody Mary's case, considering her lower half and arms were missing in one of the images of the few memories whe retains.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, one of Bloody Mary's flashbacks includes a scene (in "Thin Man's" lab) where her brain is ripped out of her body, or somebody's brain is.

Hmm that was quick, glad to see May in one piece again.
Also a bit of daaaw  :-* at the scene between Bern and May.

I don't think that original Mary body remains anymore, her brain was changed permanently so even if they would change her body it won't make her situation better, since they don't know how the Thin man did that, that's why they needed Mary brain to check for details.
They can make new body but they can't transform one self from one brain to another.

@Brion: Seriously. How bloody happy are you to never have to worry about forgetting that arm or finger again?

...you watch, now you'll forget to include it *PMSL*

Hey guys! I'm new so sorry if this post may be a little strange....just dont mind me I'm losing my post virginity!

I personally think that while the art is incredible and is definately pushing the limits I have to say I'm getting a bit dissapointed with the plot. Maytag was an interesting character until she attempted to sleep with Crest that she turned monogomous which really I think ruined her character. I am it happens (and don't think that it confirms that I am a pervert despite me being a fan of flipside alond with this particular webcomic) I am a fan of Yu + Me which is chock full of Lesbianism that it is a little tiring. When Flipside has a lot of this I thinlk that it ruins it. I think personally that it would be a little more interesting if Maytag was a little more promiscuous.

Just the opinion of a n00b thats all....
