Just managed to drive home from work in 6 inches of powder snow with a fully laden front wheel drive car (4 pax plus me driving) then went out and knocked snow off the receiver dish for my Free Sat.

I got my bike back from the shop (Safety Recall

) Painted an oil pan for my rebuilt engine. And made four Buphagus erythrorhynchus replicas. (The blood sucking B*st*rds.)

And since I missed posting on Saturday, I patched the barn roof where the storm last week tore a gaping hole in it.

Both mine. I've got quite a few. I'm the son of a former military combat arms instructor. I could field strip an M-16 by the time I was 10.

It's become something of a hobby. I only started getting into these competitions 5-6 months ago. Only the second time I've placed in the top three, so either I'm improving, or the competitions getting worse.

And I'm not going to spout any of that "Welcome to the real world" BS others are going to. You've been here the whole time. Life is basically like Highschool

As for my accomplishements? I got covered in fiberglass insulation. I don't think that really counts.

Well I'm friends with the guy who made the slide shows and power points. (They made him do it ALL last minute, ON the day it was due!) I got to change my song. I'm not revealing the original, but yes... it sucked.
And I'm afraid not. I've never lived in the "real" world. I've always lived in my own.

Also, I managed to break my throat because I refused to shut up and I kept singing all day. Worth it though.

I made it rain.

It's been dry and dusty for weeks, but I tempted fate by heading out without rain gear on my bike, and staying out way later than I should have. BOOM. Thunderstorm, lashing wind and rain with a wee bit o' sleet. I got drenched.

BUT IT WAS A DAMNED EFFECTIVE RAIN DANCE.
