I've never played a card game like this, so forgive my stupid question on the 404 card: What is the point in every player skipping a turn? Doesn't that mean that the next player in turn continues anyway?

Nice art, by the way.

*lol* I guess it's either just a joke card (which it is) or it's meant to be that every OTHER player skips a turn so you start a second turn immediately after the card is placed.

But if it does skip everyone including the person putting the card down then it may cause any kind of cards that repeat an effect every round to activate again.  So if some sort of "poison" card is causing all monsters to loose half their remaining points each turn then it would activate again.  Or if there's some card that traps something for say 3 rounds then it counts down an extra round. *shrug*

I have to agree with Hans the every player skips their next turn effect makes no sense.  Which you were right, by the way.

The only way I can see it even working is if you're playing a 4+ non-chaos multiplayer match where global effects can't hit some of those player(s).

*shrug*

Damage isn't cumulative in magic, creatures regain their health at the end of each turn. and No something that activates each turn *whether it be losing counters or dealing damage to players or whatever* won't happen on turns that are skipped because never happen.

When I finish my book, you'll have to make a commemorative edition holofoil "40 Day Novel" card.

Someone should really tell Umber I can't stop staring at his tits XD
Someone should have told me that, since I would have had no idea what they were talking about and it would have been funny :D

Apparently I don't come here enough.  This time I have been greatly rewarded.  Amazing job Keaoden.  If I didn't know better I would say you're making a set, as you seem so have some recurring themes (returning all forumites to hand, tapping down everybody) - it would make for long games but not necessarily bad ones...

(sorry I can't resist an urge to evaluate the cards as if I'm going to play with them)

Razzly's is awesome, as are many of the others.  I like the land ideas for different areas, though they're a little overpowered for real magic since they tap for any color.  But again, within the context of this "set", a lot of the cards have very difficult mana costs to meet (5 colors, or 4 of one color, so forth), so these lands may be just right!! :D

Artist's Den is an ass-kicking waiting to happen!  You could potentially get a turn 5 Pozf, and be able to activate all his abilities too!

At first glance, Ronin and Emp seem to be the strongest, with Ronin way in the lead...I could have missed something though.  I have to go look at the first page again.

But Ronin!  4/4 Flying, Shroud, Protection from Forumites!?  For 3?  And just in case there's something that can block him, he can tap it at will?  Nuts...he needs some kind of a..what's that word?  He needs another card that opposes him, so that opponents have a chance of answering him.

haha at naked Chuck!  should be unblockable though...or blockable only by kinky forumites?

again, absolutely epic and so much appreciated!

Sorry, my computer is tricky with long posts, it scrolls randomly, so I'm not editing that last one...

anyway, Deatzh is also really strong!  I missed the double strike...and her ability is so appropriate.

OK, I have to say it...why have I been painted as bashful?  It's due to my God-title isn't it?  charles?  Am I bashful?  well, I guess I sort of am...but I didn't think that was my overriding quality.  Not that I know what that is...

Though I do like that I can counter spells, and I think blue/white are good colors for me.  Countering spells has always been my long-time favorite thing to do in Magic.  Harder to do these days though...games go so much faster than they used to, and are often not as dependent on big spells.

edit: sorry to triple-post!

Never mind, Chag4 counters Ronin really nicely...Selan as well, her life-gain would likely put her controller out of reach of his like.  You'd need something like blue Keaoden or Deatzh swinging in with the big numbers...and even then you might still need to kill Selan (sorry Selan!)

I thought Razzly could handle him by tapping him down, but the shroud prevents that.

But anyway, these are all legendary, so you can only have 1 of each in play at a time, which makes them a bit trickier to build/play with.

Kudos on Brion's card and the New Page card too.  They're all good though, so it's silly to single out certain ones.

again, sorry to overanalyze these.  I'm not trying to be critical, I just can't help it!  Green Keoden is really good too since you can morph him in, and especially since he escalates into Blue Keaoden!

I think this set would be really fun, man.

If I'm ever less lazy, I'll try to flesh it out with more spells and non-legendary cards.  I don't know how we'll play, though.  Maybe over Skype?  Either that or we need to just real quick program up a Magic engine to play online that lets you enter the cards you want to play with.  We'll only have to program about 8 quadrillion rules or so...oh and then the infinite interactions between those rules...should be simple!

(quadruple post) Oh and don't forget the deck that has 4 Akashayi's, 4 Sex Threads, and 4 Ronin's (edit: and 4 Akashayi's Dungeon's!  How did I miss that?)!   :D :D

edit: it would also probably have some Debate rooms to help get Akasha into play faster.

edit2: Oddball should get +3/+3 if he has a bondage counter on him.  Maybe NW too?  Although I think he might be a dom?  Oddball's toughness should really by 1 + *, by the way, or else if you cut a land he just dies immediately.

 :D :D :D

Oh, forgot!  Smiles and Sister are awesome too!!  Also Fatal Goodbyes...damn it ok I'll shut up now!  Symphony also a cool idea...shit!

Wizards of the Coast might do well to hire you.

(five posts now)

OMG!  OMG!  We can do this.  Apparently the site Keaoden did this on can export to some program that lets you play online!

omg...omg....*rocks back and forth all excited*

Can I add to your set though Keaoden?
