looking good, i like your map design, i know some techniques for making more complex maps if you get pissed of with xp's limited options for mapping...

oh and a little tip to help with user friendlyness, if someone says level, spell it out as level, instead of just using lvl, it looks cleaner, reads a lot smoother and most importantly seems a lot more profesional.

also, where bern says "anytime you see that thing" replace 'thing' with 'symbol'

just my 2 cents

edit: also, if you add a 1-3 pixel fade to transparency around bern you won't get the white dots on the border yet the fade won't notice very clearly

I'm not trying to be rude and this may just be coincidence, but, much of the layout looks like it's from Crono Trigger and Breath of Fire. Would you happen to be a fan?
