During the World Wars, it was argued that if you're old enough to go to war for your country, you're old enough to have a beer with your mates... I kind of like that reasoning.

So do I, and that's the complaint most people have about the legal drinking age in the states. In Canada, however, it's 19. Not sure why it's 19 instead of 18

i honestly know very few people that pay attention to the drinking age anyways (which is similar to people smoking marijuana) so its not even a very big deal haha
