Here are some images of my office. I finally got it put together, This is a little old as I've since finished putting more stuff together or setting it up in there but you get the Idea. Yes! For those who remember the bigger desk, I decided to rip it out and go with the two smaller ones... *meh* The bed will be handy... Now I just need a decent computer chair like I had in the house before this one (still got the chair as you'll see in the garage pics but it's just way too broken).
And here is my blokes shed! It's been altered some more since this but I'm sure you get the general idea. It was packed fairly solid before but now I've just got some more tidying up, clearing out and sorting, then I'm rocking!
The other awesome thing that happened recently is I had my Grandparents stay for a while and after he helped me organise my shed a bit and I drove them home, my Granddad gave me his old tools... My Granddad is a retired mining engineer and I'm not talking about the paper shifting kind. He started back in the day as a blacksmith's apprentice around the age of 13. A good deal of the tools are 30+ years old (older than me) and apparently a few even date back to just after WWII.
Those books he gave me in the last page are from the 60's and 70's. But I actually love the older workshop books 'cos they show you how to do things without a lot of the more fancy tools you can get now-a-days... I'm trying to decide if I trust the safety of my hands with welding to 35 year old welding gloves.
P.S. hmmm I should probably shrink these pictures myself rather than rely on photobucket to shrink them to a reasonable size in future.
