another truth thread
« on: September 16, 2009, 01:27:44 pm »
Well, I just signed up, and I'm slowly working my way through the forum, trying to get to know the place a little. About 40 seconds ago I came across smiles' topic regarding truth threads, and a little quick searching later it seemed like a fun thing to do, and a good way to get my post count up, so here we go...

I'll answer to the best of my knowledge and creativity, so give me your worst  :P

what's your favorite pasta?
Someone else's ravioli, because you get a surprise when you bite into it

do you like shrimp in your pasta?
Not a huge fan of seafood, so I wouldn't put it on myself, on the other hand, putting shrimp on your ravioli isn't going to stop me from steling it to see what flavor it is.  ;D

what is the price of tea in china?
Totally irrelevant, and, to quote a particularly witty clerk at boat show the other day, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it".  :P

does it really have anything to do with anything else?
well, considering that the internet is a form of Information Technology, and according to rule 34, anything imaginable can be found on the internet (although given the particular wording of the rule, you might regret finding it), I would say that it has to do with EVERYTHING else, and itself as well.

why does it take you so long to do one page?
because it is important to carefully consider every possible approach to a given page, in order to fully appreciate its every nuance, and beautiful detail, before nuking it and moving on.

pumpkins?
Yes please, pie with whipped cream on top, lanters-O-jack with four foot high flames coming out the top, and carriages with foot-fetishist bait within.

pooch?
More of a cat person, but given my growing allergy for the little furry devils, I might be in the market.

would you like some peanuts?
Certainly, with salt please, provided they're not just being added because they're cheaper than any of the other ingredients, and I'm paying by the kilo.

roasted?
I'd like to make a play on the colloquial use of that phrase, but honestly, it seems a bit of a stretch, so I'm just gonna say I like my peanuts like I like my marshmallows, and leave it at that.

with cinnamon?
You know I used to know a girl by that name, can't recall if we ever shared peanuts, but the spice is delicious on pretty much everything.

do you collect anything?
I collect many things; books, games, webcomics for my bookmark list, travel visas, pretty much anything oddly shaped and shiny, and of course, the heads of my enemies  ;D

Has anyone asked you this question?
Hi.
I've been out for two years, so warn me if I act like I missed something obvious. ^^;

...oh, and to anyone who missed me, I'm open to hugs, kisses, and intense tearful cuddles.

shiny?
old clockwork, interesting bits of machinery, pretty rocks, models, .... you know, manly things

fire?
lots of fun, just don't make yourself the fuel, or anything which will be difficult/expensive/neccesary to replace

what's your favorite food?
Saganaki!, seriously, I want to meet the person who first thought of this and kiss them. Nothing on earth is more fun to prepare or eat, you get a piece of good cheese, you fry it (no oil, just melt it a bit in the pan), you bring it to the table, you douse it in ouzo, you set it on fire, and then you eat it, genius!

when was the last time you ate cake?
Grandpa's birthday, couple weeks ago, man, I could go for some of that now, lemon meringue on angelfood...

what's your favorite flavour of cake?
Chocolate, with chocolate chunks, and chocolate sauce on top!  ;D

icecream?
Yes please, bubblegum and double fudge, one scoop each, large waffle cone, to go. Mondays at the student store, they get a new shipment of icecream and the old stuff is a dollar a scoop!

where would you buy a blue flame candle?
hmm, dunno, occult shop maybe? but i doubt theres any near here, and its probably a rip off, so if i really wanted one I'd get my hands on some wax, and some copper chloride, and mix up some home made ones. Alternatively, If you wanted to be fancy, Burning the semiprecious stone malachite (which is made up in large part of copper carbonate) would most likely produce a blue flame. And yes, I looked up the bit about malachite on the web, but not the bit about copper chloride  ;)

do you believe i ghosts?
Not as such, I have yet to see any kind of persuasive evidence of an afterlife of any sort, never mind the existence of ghosts. That being said, I have yet to see irrefutable evidence of my own mortality either, and it would be damn cool to meet a ghost. Alas, I'm going to have to go with no, any "ghosts" are probably just overactive imaginations on the part of witnesses.

vampires?
Definite no on this one, although it is one of my most fondly held goals to become one. Vampiric activities seem entirely plausible to me, but vampires as portrayed in popular culture are just not practical.

werewolves?
Nope, not one bit, totally ridiculous, I can't even imagine anything close to werewolves being possible. That being said, don't quote me if ever we find ourselves alone in the deep dark woods of the northern europe late at night.

popples?
I don't even know what those are, and I'm a little scared to google them, so i'll just go with a no, and move on...

do you play an instrument?
I play flute with moderate skill, and Irish whistle with much less skill, but much more enthusiasm, haha

you like to sing?
Like? maybe. But I'm terrible at it, voice like a sack of dead fetuses. So it would take some serious persuasion and bribery to ever see it.

care to dance?
Now that's more my style, Again, I can't say I'm very good, but I'm always up for a go, and I'm thinking of taking some lessons.

favorite drink?
Ooh, close call between the chocolate milk and the juice, but I'll go with juice, grape, apple, orange, punch, it is sweet and delicious.

weasels?
Sure, why not, just don't hit me with a sack of rabid ones.

snakes?
nah, I'm just happy to see you. Seriously though, they're cool, provided they pose no great or present threat to my well being, but if I find any in my bedroom or bathroom, there's gonna be a dead reptile in the garbage tomorrow.

badgers?
are epic animals, I have great respect for the badger.

ravens?
the best of the lot, they're smart, fairly clean, not likely to kill me, and pretty damn cool.

when was the last time you rode the magic tollbooth?
I can't recall ever having ridden a magic tollbooth, but I rode an airplane 12 hours each way last week, does that count?

what's your destination?
A life of fun and excitement.

what sentence do you want?
Death by a method of my own choice  :P

ever been in the doldrums?
Indeed I have, but luckily the wind picked up again before we were forced to either eat a crew member or swim for shore.

Has anyone asked you this question?
Amazingly, no, but I appreciate the self referencing there, and I approve most heartily

Well, I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say that, I sometimes find myself with too much time on my hands, and 4chan has its moments, haha.

So are you a b/tard ?
I deny all knowledge of this b you speak of, and anyone who claims to have seen me there for great lengths of time a couple of years ago would have to be another b/tard, and who trusts those guys eh? Actually, most of the stuff I know from 4chan I first encountered on Stumbleupon, the plug in of choice for procrastinators everywhere.

and  is there really price of tea in china porn?
oh god, I shudder to think, but I'm sure it could be worked into some bizarre variation on the "sexy pizza delivery guy/girl" only with tea instead of pizza, and bad English dubbing.

Where you pushed?

Did yougo willingly?

or are you being blackmailed into it?

What is the average rain fall for a month in the Amazonian Rain Forest?

What is your quest?

What is the capital of Assyria?

What is your favorite colour?

If a mime is walking through a forest and a tree falls on him/her would any one mind?
What good is dreaming it if you don't actually do it?.

Why did you decided do to another truth thread?
Well, I just signed up for the forum a couple days ago, and it seemed like a cool way to introduce myself, and get my post count up, plus everyone else is doing it.

Where you pushed?
....im not really supposed to talk about it, but just between you and me, a certain amount of leverage was in fact applied to me when it came to the decision making process.

Did yougo willingly?
oh yes, this particular hill wasn't worth dying for, as it were, haha

or are you being blackmailed into it?
hmm, this was more of a carrot sort of thing than a stick sort of thing, so im going to go with no.

What is the average rain fall for a month in the Amazonian Rain Forest?
less and less every year, thanks to deforestation, but still enough to hide a giant squid in if you collected it all.

What is your quest?
To seek the HOLY GRAIL!

What is the capital of Assyria?
I don't know that! AUUUGH!

What is your favorite colour?
Red, no, wait, yel- AUUUGH

If a mime is walking through a forest and a tree falls on him/her would any one mind?
That depends, can anyone else see, feel, or otherwise interact with this tree? Why did the tree fall, was it pushed, or did it jump? Was the mime by any chance Hitler in disguise? Am I allowed to answer a question with a question?

Value in bulk eh?

Would you like to live near a river or lake?
Ideally, I'd live on an island int he ocean, but given the choice between a river and a lake, I'd go for the river. FLowing water's less likely to breed mosquitos, and sounds nice. Plus, if I ever found myself purseued by nazgul I could lose them by crossing it.

would you like to live on an island?
hell yes, Islands are excellent. Very defensible, not quite as ideal as a cruise ship in case of zombie apocalypse, but still, quite good. My parents have a place on this little island out by Vancouver, It's a lot of fun, great small town. Plus there's "island time", everything is better on island time.  ;D

would you like to live near a waterfall?
Yeah, I'd go for that, it would be fun to go diving over, and again, I like the sound of moving water. Plus you could set up a little water wheel and power your house off it, haha.

would you like to have a bunny?
Well that depends, in either case, probably no, too much upkeep. I don't even know whats involved in the care and maintenance of a playboy bunny, but as far as the little furry ones go, I don't think they're worth the effort of cleaning the cage and whatnot, much better to get a cat  or a dog.

Do you think I should keep my nekkid piccies up?
nekked piccies? where? I am always wholly in favor of nekked piccies of cute girls, provided said girls are the ones posting them.

Do you drink alot of pop (ie: Pepsi, Coke, Cream soda)
Every four months I swtich between drinking a truly disturbing, and likely unhealthy amount of pop and drinking almost none at all, as I move in and out of class terms.

Coconuts or bananas?
Bananas all the way, coconut is ok, but I truly dislike that dry coconut flake stuff you get on some baked goods, I can never chew it, which is annoying.

Do you like pineapple?
Oh yes, great fruit, excellent projectile, delicious on pizza.

do you have any allergies?
I am vaugely allergic to cats, not serious though. If i rub my cat a lot, then go pawing my eyes they get kinda itchy and red, and they sometimes give me a runny nose, but that's all. Ironically, I have two cats, both of whome love nothing more than sitting on or around me.

what is your favorite  kind of cheese?
hmm, cheese is good, I don't think I could pick just one, probably cheddar, mozzerela, havarti, saganaki (not really a "type" of cheese per se, but meh). Pretty much any medium hard, mild or medium flavour cheese is good for me.

Do you eat alot of food when you eat?
I'm not sure how to answer this, I eat as much as I feel like, if the foods spectacular, I might eat past being full, but not usually. I often skip lunch at school, so I eat a lot at dinner. Pound by pound, I suppose about a square foot or so of pizza, or maybe a volume of kraft dinner roughly equivalent to a 4 inch cube.

and  now let's play what's your favorite:

animal?
hmm, probably my cats, species wise, i'd have to go with the kraken, aka the colossal squid, those things are epic.

Icecream?
Chocolate chunk, yummy.

color?
A cute girl blushing  ;)

song?
haha, changes by the day, but at the moment its Blut Im Auge by Equilibrium. I have no idea what the lyrics are, but I like the instrumental, and the screaming is tolerable.

Nursery rhyme?
"Johnny was a chemist's son, but johnny is no more, what johnny thought was H2O was H2SO4!"

card game?
haha, not exactly a card game, but kubb involves vaguely recto-prismatic shapes... but if you're going to be strict I'd probably have to go for unlimited cheat, that's a fantastically creative and strategic game, haha.

video game?
Well, I like a lot of games, mostly rpg, fps, rts, that sort of thing. I abhor the sports games, and I find that my "if you want to slow down you ease up on the gas a little" approach to racing games rarely actually works. At the moment I'm still pretty enthused about Warhawk for the ps3. its an online only first/third person shooter, great fun, but a bit of a learning curve. My favourite quote: "It's like wanting to learn to swim, so you go to the public pool and call some buddies.  You get to the pool and one of your buddies kneecaps you, and another puts a cinderblock around your neck and throws you in the deep end.  They all pass out paintball guns and start blasting you in the face everytime your head gets above water." It's a fantastic game, but a lot of people get frustrated when they can't go on a rampage, if you can get more than 1 kill per life, you're doing a great job.

place to be?
Sitting in my basement, with the tv on, some good music, some good games, a laptop or two for the internet, and some good friends.

do you know how to play Egyptian rat screw?
lol, we dented a caff table doing that a couple years ago, I'm probably a bit rusty by now though.

have you ever played bullshit the card game?
yeah, that's basically cheat right? Different people have different definitions of just what exactly is legal, but the way we play we call it "unlimited" because anything goes, hiding, playing extra, lying, dealer cheating, once when I was dealing, i managed to deal myself a a hand that was almost 10 cards smaller than the other 5 people's (two deck game) ;D

what exactly is island time?
Well, you know, like in jamaca, or little island town, when someone says 3:00 but really means sometime after lunch, or you schedule things by days instead of hours, and still expect people to be a couple late. Sucks if you're trying to run a business, but its great for vacations, especially when a week or two turns into the better part of a month, haha

yeah didn't you know? (there's even one with me hiding behind a tree in my back yard.)
nah, I've mostly been poking around the Hall of Games, haven't gotten too much further yet. Gonna have to take a look around now though  :D

heh i didn't mean a playboy bunny or i woulda specified.
haha, I figured not, but half the fun with answering truth or dare questions is in the interpretation...

pepsi or coke?
Coke if i can get it, which means I usually ask for Pepsi at restaurants, because it's guaranteed that they'll have which ever one you DON'T ask for. I tried asking for either one once, and they claimed to have neither, I think it's a conspiracy....

how do you like your steak cooked?
Brown on the outside, and a little pink in the middle, not bleeding, but not carbonized either. Depending on how expensive and where the restaurant is, that an translate into anywhere from raw to 10-minutes past well done.

how come you haven't asked me any questions yet?
Alas, I knew I was forgetting a beautiful lady somewhere. In my defense I plead a desire to come up with interesting and original questions for everyone, hence my only posting one or two at a time, and not to many people. (I'm usually lacking in both originality and interest by the time I get to my computer at night)  ;)

wnat is your current career?
Career, damn, that's a big scary word. At the moment I'm studying Chemical Engineering, but I'm only in second year, so I'm still hiding from actually having to pick a career to settle on. Probably something to do with chemicals, or engineering, maybe in a lab, doing R&D. I'd like to end off on a Caribbean island retired, with lots of money, and a hot girlfriend, so I figure all that's left to fill in is the middle, haha.

do you like to cook?
Do I like to cook? Well, that's a bit of a situational question, if I'm expecting to entertain a cute blond, then I might whip up some fillet mignon, but if I'm just gonna be sitting at home plying games, or puzzling over calculus, I'm much more likely grab a couple slices of pizza from the place across the street. So I suppose the answer is no, I don't particularly like to cook, but at the same time, i don't mind cooking, especially if i'm going to get some delicious food, or other reward out of it.  ;D

are the pointy scissors shiny?
oh yes, pointy scissors are very shiny, but not quite so much as the chainsaw on an extensible rod I saw at home depot the other day....

No you are not allowed to answer my questions with a question of your own.
....Then I shall answer your statements with questions, or shall I?

Now answer my mime question: YES or NO?
oh, yes/no answers are so boring, i suppose i'll go with no, but only because i kinda like the idea of mime-hitler miming getting a tree dropped on him, only get hit by an actual tree.

what's above this?
hmm, well directly above would be the ceiling, but my laptops screen is kinda angled down at the moment,so if you went straight line off the top of it you'd probably hit the display cabinet in front of me.

Whats behind this?
hmm, next window back would be the website im working on, not terribly interesting, but some fun programming problems.

Whats over there?>>>>>
Bookshelves, yay! I'm upstairs so most of these shelves are my dad's and are therefor filled with murder mysteries and such, all my sci-fi/fantasy is in the basement, haha.

What's over there?<<<<<<<<<
hmm, 2 computers a laptop, a router, some speakers, a bg desk, 4 pounds of paper.....

What's below this?
my crotch, I already told you it was a laptop right?

What's in front of this?
Your's truly, and on the back of my chair an hungry cat whos bound and determined to get fed an hour before her dinner time.

so you would only cook for a cute blonde?  Wink
oh no, i'd cook for just about any girl, and sometimes even for myself, blond just happened to be the first hair colour that occured to me. Actaully, I think the coolest hair I've ever seen on a girl was dark drown or black with blue tips.

short or long hair?
About shoulder length I think. Straight if it's dark, frizzy if its light, I have no idea why...

fav color eyes?
You know, i only recently started really looking at people's eyes, they're a lot more interesting than I've given them credit for. I really couldn't say what colour is my favourite, I haven't really seen enough. And I have to imagine that its one of those things that will be largely attributed to specific people. I might meet a real as hole with blue eyes and subconsciously dislike them forever, or the very opposite. At the moment though, I figure they're kinda like snowflakes, all fascinating in their details.

sexiest body part of the opposite sex?
hmm, I really can't think of an answer to this that won't make me look like either a chauvinist, a liar, or a pretentious git, so i'm gonna go with no comment.

what do you find kinky?
If i woke up to a girl wearing nothing but a strawberry, some whipped cream and a half quart of chocolate sauce, I'd probably call that kinky, and call in sick for the day, otherwise I'd have to decide it situation by situation. There's certainly not one specific thing I'd call kinky, I could think up a practically indefinite series of things to do that fall under that, but I'll save you the eyestrain.  ;D

what do you find romantic?
Going out of your way to let someone know that they're special.

do you have a gf/bf?
No, alas, more through a lack of effort on my part than any crippling social or physical disfigurement, or so i like to tell myself, haha. I've been pretty distracted recently, between school, and work, and all the fun things there are to do, I've neglected the fairer sex almost criminally. Why, you interested?

so why haven't you been on since i got back from vaca?
I'm not entirely sure what vaca is, or what exactly I haven't been on. However, since the last time I was on the forum, I've been working, chatting with friends, reading a web comic, touring around the Toronto Rehab Institute, to see if I want to volunteer to help them with research (I think I will, it looks neat), and eaten a butt-load of wings which were delicious.

what is your goal in life?
To enjoy it to it's fullest, and experience as wide a variety of interests as possible.

why did your chicken cross the road?
To plant some landmines in the enemy's spawn area, kekeke  ;D

If bunnies were asexual do you think the world would be overrun by bunnies?
Unlikely, asexual reproduction is basically cloning, which means all the offspring have identical DNA to the parent. Even assuming that the bunnies would expand their population well beyond the limits imposed by available resources (something that only humans among all mammals have ever done on a large scale as far as I know) they would still be incredibly susceptible to diseases, anything that could affect a single bunny would also affect EVERY other bunny due to their identical immune systems. The whole reason that animals reproduce sexually is that varying the genes makes it harder for a single event such as a virus cannot wipe out the entire population. Now I suppose bacteria get by alright with aesexuality, but their lifespans ae so short that random mutation does the job of varying their DNA for them, and I don't think bunnies could quite manage that, haha.

if jimmy cracked corn and no one cared why is there a song about it?
Media ever panders to the common masses, frankly I think jimmy cracking corn is more news worthy than some celebrity's newest fling, but those make the magazines every day. I despair for the human species.

do you like being scientific?
haha, I suppose you could say that. I could say it's force of habit, but I genuinely enjoy applying knowledge to a problem. It's great fun, makes most of life into a big puzzle, and who doesn't want to play games all day?

do you enjoy making long explanations?
Haha, this might be a little self evident from all  my past posts, but yes, I do. I figure, if people are going to invest the effort asing me questions, the least I can do is spend a couple seconds thinking of an answer. And I really do enjoy looking for interesting ways to interpret and answer the questions, even better if i can throw in some word play, haha.  ;D

what is your favorite color?
Oh I see what this is, how could he possibly come up with a fancy answer for this, right? Well, I defy you, I choose the infra-red spectrum as my favorite colour, and if you care to challenge the validity of such a choice, I shall write for you an excellent explanation, haha.  :P

if you were to sing karaoke tonight what would you sing?
hmm, well, although I listen to a fair bit of music, I never really think about it too much, so the only songs I can think of that I might stand even a small chance of not horribly butchering are Fever and Moondance. Although even then, I haven't actually played either song for months, and I never sang them in any coherent manner, so I'd probably still embarrass myself.  ;D

blue fuzzy things?
Are pretty cool, provided they're not on my food. Blue fuzzy on your food is generally a sign that said food needs to be thrown out, shot, burned in a well ventilated area, or some combination thereof.

tickle me Elmo or a drooling cookie monster?
Tickle me Elmo for sure, you could replace the original sound files with ... whatever else is amusing, some thing along the lines of "HELP!  RAPE, RAPE!" maybe....

when is the sky purple?
uhh, I dunno about purple, but I know that when Vancouver Island is mostly on fire, the huge smoke clouds make for really nice orange sunsets looksing out from Kit's Beach in Vancouver itself. I imagine you'd get purple skies through some combination of pollution and the angle at which the sun is hitting the atmosphere. Either that or someone is casting Epic level negative energy spells.

what did she say?
A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell.  :P

PS. I'm gonna be away this weekend, so unlikely to post anything more until Monday

Holey-fucking-goat-licking-balls-of flaming-shit-ferrets, that's a lot of questions....

Will the world end before the sun explodes?
Yes, prior to exploding most stars expand by a noticeable percentage, I believe i read that inour sun's case this would involve engulfing at least one, if not two of the inner planets, and, barring some truly impressive intervention, turning the earth into a smoking cinder.

what are you listening too?
You're either missing a comma or you have too many "o"s in too, but yes I am listening too, we all are, you're under constant surveilance and its being broadcast on the web. Earlier today however I was listening to Equilibrium, "Blut Im Auge" is a pretty good song if i say so myself.

are you eating right now?
Nothing, it's terrible, but earlier I had some yogurt covered pretzels, they were delicious.

what would the doctor prescribe to a cow with purple spots?
Hmm, probably some industrial strength fungicide.

what  do you do on your weekends away from home?

Hmm, well, if i'm visiting someone I'll probably play games or sports with them, or watch some movies. But strictly speaking its more unusual for me to /be/ home, weekend or otherwise given that I'm either in school, or on co-op somewhere else in the country about 50 out of 52 weeks of the year.

do you take many vacations?
Vacations? what are these vacations you speak of? haha, Students don't get vacations, we get a week off between the end of exams and the start of next term, maybe, if we're lucky. :(

what was the last vacation you took?
I dunno if it qualifies as a vacation, but a couple weeks ago I was in Tokyo for a few days for a conference...

where is your dream vacation spot?
hmm, maybe A private Island somewhere in the carribean with about a dozen of my closest friends and associates. Or else most of europe via a month-long unlimited use rail pass, with a special girl.  ;)

what name would you pick for your firstborn child?
Hmm, every once in a while I think of something that would be particularly amusing to name a kid, but if i was actually having one and didn't want to toally screw up his life I'm not actaully sure what I'd call my spawn. I think one of my great grandfathers was called Salas, I always thought that was a pretty neat name. and for a girl, hmm, no idea, let's ask the mother's opinion, shall we?

have you ever seen the Magic toll Booth?

PRetty sure this is a repeat question, ergo I shall not dignify it with a response.

what is the last book you read for fun?
I'm currently working on "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" as well as "Toll of the Hounds", I hit up a used bookstore last week, so I've got "Sorcerers of the Frozen Isles", "A Stainless Steel Rat Is Born" and "The Dragon, The Earl, and The Troll" lined up next.  ;D

do pigs ever meow?
Sure, why not?

what do you think is on the other side of the rainbow?
A prism, or other diffraction device (traditionally clouds of suspended water micro-droplets) and behind that is a white light source, usually the sun. If you're really unlucky though, there's a missile, with your name on it.

have you had Quiche?
Yep, it was pretty good if my memory serves me right.

do you like spinach in things (like on pizza)?
eww, vegetables are what food eats. Seriously though, no. I don't particularly dislike spinach, but I'd never actaully ask for it to be on any of my food. Now teriyaki sauce on the other hand, that's good on everything.

do you know what a Popple is?
Again, repeat question.

have you ever seen "Duckula"?
Only once, it was truly bizzare.

how long has it been since you first started using the internet?
I have no idea, I think we might have had something about it in like, grade 3 or 4 computers class, and that was what, maybe 10 years ago?

what do you think of cell phones?
They're pretty conveniant, but I only usualy check mine for messages a couple times a day, unless I'm expecting something.

do you like peas?
Peas are good, better than spinach anyway.

is fog as thick as peanut butter or pea soup?
Sometimes, I like to put on a black turtleneck, black pants, a black cape, skeleton gloves and a skull mask and go for walks around the neighborhood when it is....

how many licks does it take to get to the center?
Depends on how hot you get it first, and how good a licker you are  ;)

what is your favorite pudding?
Dark pudding is the best, cause it drops fancy loot. Kinda annoying that it's only weak to holy though..

Do you like Jello?
Hell yes, who doesn't? Jello shots are great fun. Plus who doesn't want to eat the ground up bones of their enemies? or at least of various animals.

how do you eat pie?
You stalk it carefully, get within striking range, and devour it as quickly and messily as possible, using both hands, two forks, a knife and your tongue. If you fail to cath said pie on a clean plastic sheet, expect some cleanup to be required.

what is your favorite color?

Repeat.

have you ever seen a green sky?

Hmm, I don't believe so. I've seen the aurora a couple of times, but it was red and blue, not so much green.

Do you ever remember your nightmares in detail?

Nope, I don't have nightmares, nightmares have me. They don't remember me in great detail either, which is why it takes almost a year of counseling before they can sleep peacefully again.

what creeps you out?

People who honestly believe that converting other people to their religion is for the convertee's benefit.

have you ever had Deja Vu?
Oh yeah, all the time. Just the other day, I was absolutely sure that I had gone though the exact same series of events several years ago, right down to the words people were saying and the music in the background.

would you like to live on the moon?
Nah, at least, not without some serious transforming. The whole lack of an atmosphere thing kinda sucks. If i could get the same environment up there as i have down here though, especially the same level of UV and radiation protection without wearing a special suit, then sure, the view would be great.

when was the last time you watched a bugs bunny cartoon?
Years and Years ago, I never really watched many of them, one or two when I was at the grandparent's house maybe.

what kind of puppy you would be if you were a dog?
I have no idea, maybe a husky, those seem pretty cool.

tadpoles or frogs?
Frogs, tadpoles are inda cute, but not terribly useful.

Have you seen Madagascar 2?
Nope, although its on my long list of movies "I wouldn't mind seeing, but don't really care enough ebout to go hunt down and actually watch".

do you like cute fluffy animal movies?

Not if thats all they have going for them. I wouldn't hate on a good action or plot movie just because it had animals in it, (Over the Hedge= Epic Win), but unless I was getting ome serious tonsil hockey out of it, I would never willingly sit though a whole movie about cute fluffy animals.

when was the last time you:

went to the zoo?
Grade 10, good times, not allowed back though... :(

saw a swan?
hmm, couple of weeks ago maybe? A couple live in a park just down the street from me.

fed bread crumbs to ducks?

A LONG time ago, like, back in grade 1 or something.

watched a squirrel run around your yard?

This afternoon.

went for a walk?

Yesterday, right after it finished raining, and everything was steaming and dripping, it was awesome.

went for a bike ride?
Last week, picking up dinner, mmmm Swiss Chalet....

rode on the back of a hay ride?
Can't recall ever doing this, sorry.

stopped and smelled a rose?
hmm, not a rose but they had some nice smelling flowers in the grocery store last weekend.

did something that embarrassed you till you blushed?
Hah! I deny ever being embarrassed, I laugh in the face of social propriety. still, maybe a couple months ago, but I'm sure as hell not saying what it was.

were really scared?
Really scared? I can't recall, the last time I was vaguely Uneasy was a couple weeks ago going to Japan, there's always that brief moment on take off and landing when you consider all the things that can end in your plane becoming flaming wreckage. But on the other hand, thats fairly unlikely, so it passes quickly.

have you ever seen a deer?
Yep, see em at home once in awhile, and out on the island fairly often.

have you ever eaten a deer?
Nope, had some reindeer in Stockholm a couple years ago, that was pretty good, a little gamey, but nicely prepared.

have you asked me new q's in my truth thread today?

Alas, I have not, Between this giant buttload of questions, and the calls of RL I haven't had a chance, I'll get right on it though.

do you know what Lemmings are known for?

Yep, they're purported to commit mass suicide by jumping off cliffs ona fairly regular basis. In fact they don't and the original documentary which claimed otherwise is widely recognized as one of the worst examples of animal cruelty for the sake of entertainment in existence.

what is the oldest thing in your fridge right now?
I shudder to think. Might be the fish my roommate got last term cause it was such a good deal, but never got around to descaling, decapitating and otherwise preparing. Of course, that sin the freezer, not the fridge, but yeah, I'm thinking "Whole Fish" for this one.

do you have popcorn?
Not on me at the moment, but if you give me 5 minutes I could nuke a bag up in the microwave, would you like some?

do you like salt or butter on your popcorn?

Yes Please, what better to wash down my bacon cheeseburger and poutine?

ever had:
frog legs? - No
escargot? - No
rabbit? - Yes - Not too bad
Duck? - Yes - Not too bad
miso Soup? - Yes - this is actually quite good
French Onion soup? - Yes - This is a god among foods
fried green beans? - Yes - although I prefer the "Four Season Beans" at the asian place down the street

ever eaten a worm?

hell yes, gummy worms are yummy.

have you ever eaten turtle?
No, no I have not, isn't that illegal?

how do 5 and 5 make 12?

Hmm, the first five get sniped walking around on sentry duty, the next five get sniped going to help the first five, and the last two are the sniper and the spotter who get taken out when the sergeant figures out whats happening and calls in an air strike. 12 Bodies.

have you read Alice and Wonderland?
Yup, and thats why I don't do drugs.

how old is Old?
It depends, when I was in grade one the grade fours seemed pretty old, in middle school the high schoolers seemed pretty old. Now I'm in Uni, and the TA's seem like they've been around the block a few times. I'd say Old is your current age times 1.25.

do you believe in magic?

I believe that any sufficiently advanced technology is indiscernible from magic. I believe that within my lifetime I will see things which I would currently swear to be impossible. Is that magic?

technically doesn't money actually grow on trees...?
The coins are made of metal which has to be mined, and the paper contains plastic and other things to make it more durable. The ink is probably some fancy chemical too. It takes a lot more than trees to make money.

have you ever written a fanfiction?
Nope, but one of my friends has, and I've had minor roles in their media-arts projects spoofing Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and Lord of the Rings....

What is the worst fanfiction you have ever read?

I generally avoid fanfiction like the plague.

what do you think of when you hear the name Bob?
Generic Middle name, or someones taking a few too many liberties with my own.

Do you like Dr Suess?
I've never met the guy, he writes good books though.

what is the one nightmare you remember?

Hmm, you know, I don't think I've actually had a nightmare for years, I think the last one involved my missing all of my final exams, and killing a couple of my teachers in the process of committing a practical joke that didn;t turn out to actually be funny.

does mickey mouse clone his ears for the mickey mouse hats?
Nah, the mickey hats are actually the scalps of all his enemies from the mouse kingdom.

what is your favorite color cotton candy?
Blue. Best. Flavor. Ever.

have you seen the Broadway play CATS?
Nope, I don't see many broadway plays, the only ones I can recall seeing are mamma mia in toronto, and wicked in chicago, and both of htose were on school trips.

do you have to pay taxes?
Technically, yes, in reality though being a student the government winds up paying ME when all the rebates are calculated.

would you like to collect rubber duckies?
Hmm, maybe, is there a secret sexy ducky cult I could join? I don't think I would do it just for the ducks.

do you have a rubber duckie?
Nope, They're kinda impractical in a shower, and I haven't had a bath in years.

what kind of food do you find erotic?
I don't really think of food as erotic, but if I was gonna get erotic with food I'd probably go with chocolate, or fruit, or something sweet and creamy....

do you think oysters are really and aphrodisiac?

Sure, the placebo effect is a powerful thing.

Do you like short shorts?

I like shot shorts. On girls. Cute Girls.

do you think the Purple people eater would eat you?
It might try, but I think I could take it.

icecream and cookies are a great combo yes?
Indeed, even better with some hot chocolate sauce on them, but then isn't everything?

do you prefer to ask questions or answer them?
Probably answer them. On the one hand, people generally like to talk about themselves, so of course that plays into it. On the other hand, its fun to ask questions too, but it's hard to come up with good ones, that aren't just long lists of trivial things that get sent to everyone. I like to actaully tailor one or two questions to a person, but that requires getting to know them, which is a lot of work, and usually best served by long lists of trivial questions, thus my dilemma, haha.  ;D

what is your favorite part of work?

Finishing a project, or part of a project, and being all "Hell yes, that's how it's DONE!"

what is your favorite recipe?

San Francisco Chops, pork chops with this vaguely soy-sauce based marinade, on these awesome noodles.

would you like to eat a Popsicle right now?
Nah, its a little chilly.

do you like raisins?
Raisins are delicious, especially in curry.

what is the weirdest thing you've heard lately?
The pipes make some odd noises from time to time, abrupt changes in water temperature and pressure can result in an air bubble that sounds like comeone screaming bloody murder for several minutes. I think my house might be haunted... awesome  ;D

are you trusting of others?

Yeah, but i'm working on my "cynical world weary" stereotype, it shoudl be done in a few years.

what is your personal space boundary?

If people are actually touching me any part of me other than my hands, they're too close. Unless they're a cute girl, in which case we can negotiate.

do you like ducks?

In as much as I like all other small aquatic birds? Sure.

what thought enters your head at the words "klingon love poetry"?
The mating rituals of trekkies are best left un-discovered....

do you have a vegetable garden at home?

Used to, then we moved, now between the rabbits, birds, and occasional deer it's not really doable.

what is your favorite kind of hot tea?
Chai tea is pretty good, but mostly I just fill it with mil and honey, not much of a tea person. More of a hot-milk and honey person, haha.

what is your favorite kind of iced tea?
Blueberry tea. Amaretto, Grand Marnier, Earl Gray, tastes just like blueberries, you don't even know it was alchoholic until you can't get up from the couch.

have you ever been to or thrown a tea party?

No, dudes don't let dudes throw tea parties.

do you think throwing a long island iced tea party is a good idea?
hehe, sure, the real question is do you tell the guests that's what it is?

Popples eat people for breakfast every other Thursday. if you don't know what a popple is watch out or you may get eaten!
