This place is deffinitly NOT going into my "Where to stay" guide for Iscarot. The hospitallity factor has gone way down.  He has not provided food and is now being attacked by his guests and stealing their souls.
What good is dreaming it if you don't actually do it?.

Well... he probably did provide those sandwiches to Glyph, but they were almost certainly laced with a potion of possession.

The real question is "Whats for Breakfast" and I have a feeling that might be part of the theme for the next chapter.

Also, it occurs to me that while Bern is probably a full warrior, Maytag a full rogue and Suspira a full Sorcerer, Crest is almost certainly that character in the party who's just multiclassed too much and only has levels in everything but only 1-2 *lol*

Keep it in the guide, give it a rating of only half a star. Write in the complaints. That way people will actually know to avoid it.

Provided she didn't leave the d-bag on the side of the tub... or in her room, after all, she was only taking a bath with bern!

I think there are a couple of prime d-bags standing right in front of her.  :P

hmmm. he did figure their way out of the stairway, so he's got some good logical thinking, he just needs to follow some logic here.  The more information he can get from them about his situation, the better.

...If Moss does show up now then both he and Crest don't know each other... at least, not as far as we're aware.

That's a litte harsh isn't it? After all, there is a huge indication that he is going to say "Torture, rape, all mutilate you all and then use your bodies in a gruesome puppet show," or "Learn more about the mind by using magic to drive you all horribaly, irroconizably, and irrocavely insane," or simply "Eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chinati".
I think Crest is showing some serious courage for even summoning the will to ask, knowing that there is every likelyhood that the ansewer will be unimaginalbly horrible.

Isn't it sort of metaphysically attached to her hands?

I hope Crest kicks the shit out of that douchebag.

That, or that someone unexpected, like say, Moss, comes to the rescue, saving Crest and Suspiria while throwing clever insults at everyone in the room.

Aha, Crest is using secret conversation techniques again!! :D Hope they're more effective than last time.

That's a bummer that Suspiria had to go down just like that... obviously we all knew she was going down as soon as she started acting all cocky and stuff... but just like that, couldn't even put up a semblance of a fight or anything?? :(

Well that was unexpected.

Recruitment for the Thin Man... Is that what they called Bloody Mary or are they seriously after others like Melter to do some grub work?

"This World is now what you think it is"

Now I've got images of The Matrix running through my head.  Just you watch, he's about to present a red and blue pill to Crest.

Seriously though, you have to wonder what turning a girl into a monster and unleashing her on a town has to do with revealing the truth.  But then you have to wonder what the point is of all the previous little trials they've just been put through to be recruited.  Suspira's power, Crest's logical thinking, Maytag's ability to resist mind effects...

Moss was after Seraph's notes on the 4th level of sorcery.  The expreiments have all been on young women and this party of travelers just happens to give them three such women, each one the pinnacle of their area (sorcerer, warrior, rogue).

Actually... This could be a serious religious thing.  Bloody Mary had the town totally convinced she was a daemon of the Vorpal sea with her abilities matching almost perfectly to one of them.  Either this is some cult or it's actually got some serious, truthful knowledge about some sort of higher forces there in Iscariot.

Is this where Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise turns up and does the "You cant handle the truth!" scene from A Few Good Men?

So they are conspiracy theorists. Not a good sign, when someone tells, he is the "good one" and goes militant about it. He's most likely a fanatic.
With this mention of recruiting I'd say they are something like a press gang for this Thin Man guy.

I certainly didn't expect this little twist, but like the other posters here have said, it's probably from a fanatic's POV. "Good" guys don't kidnap or drain sorcerer's powers. They come to you face-to-face and ask if you want to join their cause after explaining their position, not be sneaky about it.

Heh, nice... "We're the good guys", kinda expected a a trumpet with a fade-to-black and "L O S T" receding into the background there for a second...

The comic is starting to get a strong "bad guys are also good guys" theme... if this good-guys thing turns out to be true then the only really "bad" guy we've seen yet has been Voulger, and the Book Zero guy, I guess (though even he is debatable).

There's also the chance that Bloody Mary isn't an experiment of the Thin Man's at all and the Thin Man (or this group) are fighting those who are truly responsible.

Actually... Here's another clue that Glyph might be in on this after all... He's responsible for leading them to this place instead of stopping at any of the others.  Possibly a little too coincidential.

My theory is that the Thin Man and Breakfast Club, really are fighting some war with other sorccers but their weaponry consist of recruited/forcefully recruited super girls with devil powers.

Where the hell is Glyph when they need him?

It's probably Moss, after a thorough 'examination' of May XD ...ok, I jest.

But seriously, way to change scenes after hitting us with that! I'm glad May is waking up though, and looks like she's relatively brain surgery free.
