Nice painting

Regarding cranberry juice, I grew a pretty huge aversion to it after some experiences with large pools of blood and making the connection of how similar they look. xP

I know a girl who used to suffer from that disorder.

She didn't cut up her arms or lower legs but she did cut in that same place the painting is bleeding 'cos it was the easiest to hide so the image is very accurate.

Her and her sister were abused by their step-father for years. Bloody shocking thing. Hell I attended the wedding and my father was the bugger's best man. Always thought he was a bit of a rough bastard but he'd had two other girls with their mother who were only a few years younger than the youngest of her first two daughters so you just figured that having known them from such a young age he'd be like a normal loving father.

Fortunately the bastard is still in jail 12 years later and the eldest daughter has since overcome the disorder plus most of the trauma and is actually married now. Heh, The youngest of the sisters had a massive crush on me. Should have seen the dirty look she gave my wife at the age of 12 when I introduced her as my fiance way back when *LOL*

I love the soft textures, and the overall storybook feeling that draws you into the lives of the characters you paint.

the one with the girl on the swing is my favorite, she seems so elegant.
