I found a cherry tree on public land today, and I fully intend to harvest the hell out of it.

defying reality (ie. not sleeping?)

I have a dangerous relationship with the action of "defying reality".  It seems to be my greatest secret love.

Or maybe it's more like "pretending I have no responsibility, even though I totally do".  Including the responsibility of taking care of myself.  I don't get how some people can just sleep every night, or like eat healthily or something, and still be happy.

wonder which shop Deatzh will head towards first?

Anyway, nothing's making me particularly happy right now.  Nothing to speak of making me not happy though either...peacefulness is good.

I was almost minced by the treads of a CV9040B during a double-sided winter exercise during my compulsory service early 2004 :P had it gone 2ft furhter to the driver's right the treads would have crushed my helmet(with me in it) and sent a small pine tree flying...

This might be more of a specific happy but I just got the whole GWAR collection of basically everything I haven't heard or seen yet.  Like 6 CD's or something but the best is three of their films: It's Sleazy, Phallus In Wonderland, and Skulhedface.

Oh dear God all is going to be ok in my world for such a good long time.  Cuz I'll always have this collection sitting at home to fall back on.

Life is good sometimes.

(By the way, don't listen to Gwar.  They suck.)

Lemme guess they have a couple of songs you like, but the rest blows?
'Cause that's how I am with Dream Theater

And just to stay on topic, When my dog sits on a pile of clothes/pillows/blankets, he fluffs all of the stuff up and then squeeks as he lays down. 'tis adorable.

Actually they're just about my favorite band.  But that's because I'm a fucked up idiot.  I'm not a space alien, but Gwar and I do have being fucked up idiots in common.

Dream Theater...yeah.  They have some really great stuff, but I never end up listening to them for very long.  For my taste, they lack an "edge" I think.  I like music that has some kind of an "edge", something that makes me a little bit uncomfortable or makes me think.  I like lots of other stuff, but the stuff I listen to again and again and again has some sort of an edge or something to it usually.

...but, come to think of it, Gwar did lose their way for quite a few years in the middle of their existence.  That's actually most of the albums I just got.  I'm still glad to have them, but they got away from their metal/punk rock roots for a while.  Nowadays they're very straightforward metal.  Actually, nowadays they're pretty good in my opinion, and in a way that probably quite a lot of people would like, especially people who are into metal.  I think their popularity is going to go up actually if they can keep it up.

It's weird, and maybe disturbing at times, it depends on your sense of humor and level of pent-up agression, but it's good quality music.  The new stuff I mean.  And a bunch of the old stuff.  The middle stuff?  Not all good.

But the thing to do is see them live!! >:D

My standard drinkin' mug is 20 ounces, which is smaller than my old mug, which was an army dixie cup - Just think "Kidney dish", except four and a half inches deep and with a handle. 780 millilitres, if memory serves, which translates to about 26 ounces - and I'd drink 15+ of these a day.
