I confess I got bored, and built myself another Taser - a Kick-taser this time, same basic design, but with a higher volts and lower amps, and also - here's where the "kick" part comes in - with a big f-off capacitor, with a trigger button. So basically, you turn it on, and give it three seconds or so to charge, when the capacitor's full, you hit the trigger button to dump the entire charge into whatever poor sucker you've got it touching at the time.
I'm working on a version that has an on/off switch and an arming switch, with the actual jolt being triggered by pushing the tines back - Ie, when you jab someone with it.
Also - it makes an impressive noise when you ground it out - It's a flash, a cracking noise, and a strong whiff of ozone. (Because I haven't figured out how to safely empty the capacitor without actually firing it.)
