I confess I'm going nuts with my construction projects by staying up past midnight!

Chemistry is too much fun.  Must go buy more sulphuric acid.

I confess I'm drooling uncontrollably over Akashyi's Macallan and Emp's machine gun.

I also confess that everyone JUST turning or about to turn 30 in here has just made me feel ancient! (thank you I'm off to cry).

I confess I still read Flipside actively!

I confess that I read through this thread and some other old posts of mine, and I'm a bit horrified by how aggressive, whiny and angry I was all the time. While I'm still struggling with emotional problems every day, I feel like I have grown some. The screaming girl in the past posts kind of scares me.

I confess I was finally officially diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which partly explains the above.

If we're still talking about confessions

There are times I look back and wonder how I could have ever been the way I was years ago :) The things that felt life and death depended on when I was 19 now feel really silly. Growth is a good thing.

and crushes, hell, I can't help but feel a great fondness for the whole lot of you. Heh, especially after meeting two forumites in person ;P

On the theme of growing.
I confess I'm a much more stable man than the boy I was at 20. There has been a lot of changes and many of them in the last two years leaving me a calmer and with a lot less angst now that I have realized where much of it comes from and what to do with it.

I confess that I've changed a whole hell of a lot over the years.  And it feels like a whole hell of a lot over the past two weeks as well.  (Powerful medications will do that.)

I also confess, that, as much as that used to scare me, I now think, maybe that it's not such a bad thing.

(I guess the brain washing worked.)

I confess I went through much of the same stuff.  Its difficult to imagine some of the things that depressed me in my even my early 20's let alone through my teens.  I sort of shake my head at myself and wonder how I was ever so upset or concerned about things I now regard as trivial.

I'm can only imagine how my parents may have felt about them and wonder how I'll feel as Evelyn/Bunny goes through that age and tries to express to me many fears, worries and concerns that I likely experienced and now dismiss.  I guess I'll just need to remember and imagine what I needed at the time to make it through those years and provide as best I can.

I confess that my understanding and outlook on life has completely changed for me as early as my mid 20's (I'm now 31).  Certainly things have changed since my mid 20's but before then I feel like I was a dramatically different person.

@Razzly:  I think its always a bonus and almost relief to have a correct diagnosis.  Its not just about being correctly counseled and medicated, its like you get a better understanding of your own behaviors and can explain and comprehend what your doing and why you're doing it.  Certainly you still suffer, and while I can't relate to BPD in particular, I think it just overall makes it better to be able to know almost what to expect and you feel like you can almost write off the worst parts of it with that ability to relate it to the identified condition.

I agree a 100%. Knowing what it is makes it easier to deal with. Recognizing symptoms make you capable of going "Okay, this is BPD. This is brain-ghosts, that woman did not actually just look at me with disgust."
It also makes it easier to solve conflicts with other people.
