I've tried to get into the game on multiple occasions, but it's just so damn simplistic compared to FFXI that I lose interest so easily.

Warcraft II was the best warcraft. A 'true' rts or whatever. It's all about ranks of wizards casting masses of blizzard. Or was. The whole heroes thing was a really lame direction. (Why I worry some for starcraft II) Of course, getting to slaughter a bunch of innocent villagers? You don't get to do that too often.

I really have to disagree with the "wc3 destroying the warcraft series". I loved wc3, and thought it was a great sequal to the other games. the 1st warcraft wasn't anything epic to begin with in my opinion, though i only played it a few times. The second one i played religiously for years till the 3rd came out. and that one got me hooked to the series again.

and i find wow more easy to play now that i have my  "Add on's" .. aka quest helper <_<.. makes the game much less frustrating. Thats why i quit playing it. The quests were too vague on where you had to go etc. And now i cant' stop playing.. me and all my friends play wow together instead of .. oh seeing movies? going out to eat?... going out into the light of day?

I love wow! and I used to play alot, though I lack money funds to play.
I'm a newb you could say i've played for about 3 years and still haven't gotten a character higher than 34, mostly because whenever I have a main i'm working on, a friend of mine wants me to play with them and they want me to start out some new characters....le sigh, oh well I know the starting area for dreanei like the back of my hand now XD
