It has been quiet.  I peek in every now and then, but, I try not to double post, and since everyone else has been quiet...
Don't want to have a conversation with myself.  :)

Okay, you know the hunter from Left 4 Dead?  I look just like that right now.

Hmm...  this DuRaRaRa show.  At first, I was not impressed... But having given it time.. It is pretty good.  More complex than first glance would make it seem.  I like that.

I managed to low-side my bike.  Which isn't that bad.  Actually, I kind of knew it was bound to happen, because I was taking a cruiser bike and running it through a field in the rain.  Bikes and wet grass don't really mix.  But it was fun, and I got to ride my bike sideways. I was laughing my butt off lying in the grass next to the bike at first.  But now, the day after, I'm just a wee bit sore.  Pulled a few more muscles than I first thought.  :)

I do stupid things sometimes.  Because I want to know how the rest of the world lives.  :D

Drunk drivers man.  I hate that I seem to keep running into them.  I need to start driving something heavy enough to run over other vehicles.

I just want to say, over time kind of sucks.  I mean really, sure, I don't make all that much in the first place.  And at first, you'd think, hey extra money?  That rocks right?  Well, first, my tax rate goes from about 1/5th of what I make up to 1/3rd.  Then it takes away my time that I usually work other jobs, that don't raise my tax rate, and pay better in the first place.  And any free time.  So basically, I eat, I sleep, and I'm at work.   That's just plain not living anymore man!

I had an uncle with heterochromia.  One eye brown, one kind of grey/blue.

Only person I've ever known to have it though.

I'm tired of co-workers who bitch and moan about how they are unfairly treated.   But don't do anything to exude a sense of competence in their job.

Falling asleep at work, or complaining about being mugged last night, and having someone steal your marijuana while you were drunk does not tend to encourage an employer to treat you any better.  And it kind of kills any sympathy I might have had for you.

Also, it doesn't help to loudly declare how you're going to "kick the supervisors ass" when he's on the other side of a very thin dividing wall.  Without a door.  Every day.  All day.

Chag4.   Guys are basically really, really simple creatures.  We have more subtlety credited to us than due.  Be as plain spoken and forthright as you are comfortable with in speaking with him.  :)

Also, I just had someone confuse me with being a highschool student again the other day.  So, let's face it.  It's hard to judge age sometimes.   (I'm very nearly 29.)

Chag4.  As I read the first post for this thread, this is exactly the place to share such things!  So go ahead!

I believe Ipatrol refers to the first occurrence of Jester being misspelled as 'Jerter' in panel 3, first paragraph of chapter 30, page 58.

I have to point out that this sentence describes nearly every person on the planet.

"So not only is he an asshole, but a hypocritical asshole whose words and actions make no sense whatsoever."

I say *nearly* because I haven't actually met every person on the planet, and I'm sure that there's at least one or two odd balls out there.

I've managed to start paint stripping my Wh 40K models on a industrial scale.  By putting them in a large coffee jar a squad at a time and fill it with brake/clutch fluid.
Try some stuff called "Purple Power' too.   It's biodegradeable, so you can toss it in the back yard when you're done.

I made it through a whole day at work, after a week of freedom without going completely insane.  Tomorrow will be another day though....

I drove 2200 miles in under 48 hours without the use of stimulants.  Woo!  *collapses*

Or a gas gauge.  Or a left front brake for that matter.  Ah, classic vehicles, so much fun...

My almost constant uniform for the past week has been my scuffed steel toes, a pair of canvas cargoes, t-shirt+sweatshirt+ my bike jacket and my old man hat, along with various pairs of fingerless gloves.

I'm not used to the sudden cool weather!

I've been listening to an awful lot of Tool lately.  And all of their songs flow together, so I won't bother naming them, I've just got their albums on loop lately.

After a lack of movies for awhile, I just saw Disney's "Tangled."

Amusing throughout, and it kept me not only smiling, but laughing.  Which can be hard to do.  The animation, with regards to character expression was *Excellent*.   Sure, background charaters, not so much, but the main cast was very well fleshed out and animated.  A few too many side kicks maybe?  No one stood out enough to top the others, but they were all amusing.  It felt like they maybe didn't know where they were going with the story, but still very much worth a watch.

And it's been years, but I was talking to someone else about the movie today, if you haven't ever seen "Cool Hand Luke", do yourself a favor and find a copy to watch.

"Shakin' tha bush Boss!"

I can't think of anything highly imaginitive this time around.  So uh, how's about a simple sketch of Lina Inverse?
Doing what?  I don't know.  Reading Flipside?  (These people are nuts.)
Or something, I'm drawing a blank really.

In tribute to some of the under appreciated old school anime out there :)

Jingle bells, or no jingle bells?  Any preference?

I always smile when I open a bottle of UltraMarine Blue paint at work.  :)  Reminds of the warhammer.  I should draw a space marine on the bottle or something.

I accomplished making it to the day of Frigga!

I like the "I yam what I yam" vote up there.

I'm male.
I'm straight.  (Boringly so.)
I like musicals.
I can sew (somewhat.)
I am in fact, pretty good at interior design. ( I don't care to bother most of the time, but when called upon to do so...)
I do use phrases like "Gorgeous darling."
I don't particularly care for sports, or cars in quite the same way as others.
I have no problems with hunting.  (I hunt, just not very often.)
I like to shoot guns.  They are fun.
I like action movies too.  If they're musical action flicks, so much the better!

Make of any of that, what you will.

Smurfs = Ultra marines?  (Only marginally familiar with WH40k but still a fan.)

Managed to get 80%  + of the walls finished in the shop, and have half the lights working!  Yay for no more having to plug a bulb into an extension cord.

I'm wearing canvas pants again.  Mil Surplus shirt, and my old man hat because my head is cold.

I'm going to look like this someday:
