I was disappointed that The Golden Compass wasn't great, since I loved the book.  Does Pleasantvillecount as fantasy?  If so, that's one of my recent favorites, along with Pan's Labyrinth.

Pop Culture / Re: HARRY POTTER - books, movies and all.

I liked the latest Harry Potter movie, but I understand Smiles' frustrations.  My major complaints were that the tone was rather subdued compared to the previous films, and that the climactic Snape/Dumbledore confrontation felt too short (as did the Death Eaters marauding through Hogwarts).  Other than that, I liked the acting, dialogue and overall flow of the film.  But yes, it's more enjoyable if you've read the book, since you won't notice plot holes (the aforementioned Horcrux dilemma, as well as--of lesser importance--Ginny seemingly cheating on Dean Thomas).  I like the books much more than the movies, and the first book is still my favorite, with the fifth book coming in second.

I watched The Good Witch on Lifetime a while back, and it was better than I thought it would be.  I can't think of any others at the moment.

I'm just wearing a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum T-shir, cargo shorts and socks.  Nothing too exciting  :P.

Do you think the evil twins might be bisexual?  It's of no importance, but I just got that vibe from them.  And I think that the seduction might have just been a ploy to capture Bernadette and Maytag, with no rape intended or forthcoming.  Overall, good chapter, but I'd like to see more battle sequences in the next one  :).

Dear Maytag,

Does your missing arm feel like a phantom limb or just a stump?

Hopefully Crest mans up one day and makes a move on a girl.  His awkwardness around girls is getting a bit tedious.  C'mon, Crest, you can do it  ;) !

Great, naughty guest strips, as always.  Loved it  ;D.  I'm new, by the way.
