I've been trying to think of a good reward for people who donate, and I think I came up with something.
From now on, anyone who donates gets a free digital commission! For donating even just $1, you can get a free sketch of whatever you want! It would just be digital, so you wouldn't get it mailed to you, but still I think it's a nice reward for people who donate. Also, donations will still add up towards an extra page, just like usual!
All reward drawings will be limited to 1 character only, with no background. Also, they will be used as vote incentives. You can ask for whatever you want, if it's not one of my characters then send me a reference. You can also ask for a drawing of an original character, you must send a visual reference (text descriptions won't be accepted.) Nudity will only be allowed on donations $10 and up. Only one sketch per person, per week.
$1 = Free digital quick sketch. (low detail, bust, rated PG, Flipside characters only)
$10 = Free digital quick sketch. (low detail, full body, nudity allowed)
$25 = Free digital sketch. (high detail, full body, nudity allowed)
$50 = Free digital ink drawing, or sketch of 2 people. (high detail, full body, nudity allowed)

If you want the sketched mailed to you, you can get a normal commission. Prices for normal commissions are a bit lower, but note that commissions don't apply towards the donation meter. Here are my normal commission prices:
$20 = Pencil drawing (Add $10 per extra character)
$40 = Ink drawing (Add $20 per extra character)
$80 = Color (Add $40 per extra character) (Colored by savagesparrow of Mystic Revolution)
(Backgrounds are extra depending upon complexity, all commissions on 8x11 cardstock, larger size is extra.)

If anyone has any inclincation to do guest strips for me, now would be a great time! With 4 conventions this month, there's no way I'm not gonna miss some pages, so... the only thing I want to say is that this time I think it would be best to keep the guest strips R-rated, so would prefer no full frontal nudity (though boobs and swearing are of course ok.)

It's gonna be another one of those "educational" intermissions this time, like the sorcery one last time. So I'm wondering, what does everyone want me to do an intermission about? As in, what aspect of the Flipside world should I expand upon in this intermission? Go ahead and post your desires here, and if I like it I'll go with it! If I don't, I won't... but I might! You never know!

Free Talk / Brion's DND Livestream

So, we've posted a couple of livestreams of our DND games now. Some people were interested in some of the details of our game, so I thought I would go ahead and post about it for those who are curious. For those who are not curious, please don't check it out... you'll be bored.
Here's a rundown of the players and the character classes they are playing:
Jennifer: "Shard." Mentalist.
Heather: "Featherae." Alchemist.
Tetsuya: "Azma." Rune Soldier.
Phil: "Phil." Necromancer.
Christie: "Varushka." Street Fighter.
I pretty much wanted all custom classes in our game because I find normal DND classes too old-fashioned. Also, only humans allowed in our campaign, no other races exist. As for what system we are using, we started out using a modified version of 3.5. Although we are basically using those core rules, I simplified some things, like we got rid of grapples and attacks of opportunity. All of the classes were made up by me with input from the players; I made up all there abilities and spells and whatnot. I don't use any monsters from the manual... in fact, I rarely touched the manual and at this point in the game I have changed so many of the rules that the manual is now collecting dust.
Here's a quick summary of the storyline for the game. It starts out in a typical DND fantasy world, which just happens to have a huge tower at it's center. The players start out hunting a thief, but when they find him in a cave he shows them his true form which happens to be a demon. The players barely manage to kill him, but not before his demonic powers send them 10 years into the future, although they find that out gradually. When they emerge from the cave they find that the world has totally changed, human civilization seems to be crumbling and the world is overrun by demons. Eventually the discover that by killing demons and drinking their blood, the players can acquire demonic powers and grow much stronger than ordinary humans.
Currently, the party is in a city called Alexandretta and they are participating in a demon tournament to win a princess, whom they travelled with before and is special for some reason. So far they have won the first 3 rounds and are in the semi-finals. There is one match per day, and at night they are exploring a nearby hospital which is connected to the town by a bridge suspended over an abyss. The hospital is a hospital from our world, and they are finding lots of strange devices like broken cell phones and radios which a certain shadowy figure named Jacob buys from them for a lot of money. But they can only explore the hospital for so long per day before the phantoms come out, whom they have figured out that they don't want to mess with.
So that's it in a nutshell for anyone who's interested. If anyone has any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them. If you are reading this and thinking that you don't care about our stupid DND game, you are certainly in the majority. Feel free to make fun of us at your leisure.

Flipside Discussion / Wanted: New Moderators!

I have lost a few moderators lately, so there are a few sections that need new moderators. Mainly the art den and the politics forums. Also, I am looking for someone to be an anti-spam moderator, they would have moderation powers over all of the areas, and their duty would just be to delete spam posts, and report the name of the spammer to me. They wouldn't be doing anything else but deleting spam. Of course, other moderators are encouraged to do the same thing if they happen to catch it first, but for the spam moderator I am looking for someone who spends a lot of time on the forum.
Remember that moderators have guidelines as well, and these are posted in the "Talk to the Moderators" forum. (I probably need to go over that and update it a bit.) Generally, I prefer that this board is *not* heavily moderated, I like for people to have the freedom to talk about what they want to talk about, and joke around without having to fear "the man" breathing down their back. So being a moderator is a pretty easy job, but at the same time it is not a powerful job. So if you just want to do because you are a control freak, it is the wrong job for you. However, the politics forum does require more strict moderation.
I also like to have a record of every post made on the forum, so it is not allowed to delete any posts, with the very notable exception of obvious spam. Objectionable / disruptive posts can simply be moved to the graveyard.
If you are interested, please post on this thread! People who have been here longer are more likely to be chosen, but if you present yourself well as an intelligent and responsible individual, even a new person may be picked. Also, if the current moderators are looking to take on additional areas, that would be great.

Right now, me and my girlfriend Jen are playing this MMORPG <A HREF="http://megaten.aeriagames.com/">Shin Megami Tensei Imagine.</a> If you're not familiar with series, it's basically set in futuristic Tokyo where you fight against demons, and can recruit demons into your party. It's a free MMORPG, but you can buy items from thier website for real money.

The Bloody mary T-Shirt is finally available! They are $20 each. You can check out pictures of the finished product in the store.
Also, notice that I've cleaned up the store a bit, and now it calculates shipping automatically (hopefully this will work!) so I was able to remove a lot of excessive buttons and simplify it. It looks a lot cleaner now.
