Well, I doubt Maytag will become a sorceress unless Suspiria ultimately parts ways from the team for good or Regina takes up sorcery again and joins the team.  Maytag has always relied on cunning and wits to defeat her enemies along with her various tricks and magical gear, she's never been a powerhouse type character.

And her tools of the trade, be they potions designed to increase her reflexes or heal her wounds, or magic daggers that silence people or drink their blood, have always been impressive.  I'd like to see her pick up some new gear too of course to go along with whatever old stuff she ultimately replaces, I hope she gets the Angel's Breath ring again.

I pretty much love the comic as is thus far, but I do agree with an earlier post that having more animals/fantasy type creatures appear in story would be neat, the only supernatural beasts we've seen so far are the Maws and the Fear Demons coughed up by Bloody Mary.  I mean, Maytag and Bern don't have to start riding around on Chocobos or anything like that, but seeing some more native creatures to Iscariot would be nice, whether they be legendary in nature like dragons or griffins or are simply alien to the real world. Like, for example, there could be a type of small lizard that scurries up and down walls like a gecko but has a venomous bite and rattling tail like a rattlesnake, something we wouldn't see in the real world but could be feasible in a made up place like Iscariot, or a type of forest dwelling canine or cat that would be a cause for alarm for travelers in the woods, etc

I'm shocked to see that both Maytag and Bern have come face to face with old unrequited love interests recently, only in May's case it seems that Regina may actually have the hots for her now (or at least wants to be by her side from now on...Dunno how to react to that, I can't help but feel there's more going on with her than we realize just yet, will May try to convince her to go back to sorcery?)

As for Blackbird...Wasn't she a gangleader before?  Kinda fishy that Clairen would move on to become an assassin and Blackbird would become an enforcer, which i assume is Galahad's equivalent of a police officer?

Also, meeting Mayweather and Taggert was cool, but I'm saddened to think that May's old mentors would seek to sabotage her rather than support her, creeps >_<

The use of those ringlets was pretty cool, its nice that they can keep in touch wherever from now on, I wonder how Bern and May will deal with Regina and Blackbird respectively.

P.S. I'm new around here, but is there like a thread I can go to discuss older chpts or debate aspects of the world of Flipside?  Or talk about things like level 4 sorcery or the nature of Bloody Mary's powers, etc?

Hi, I'm new to the forumns but have been a fan of Flipside since last year when I picked up the first four mangas at Anime Boston

Assuming I'm not too late for jumping on the request bandwagon, may I request a pic of Bloody Mary dressed in May Tag's current jester costume and asking how she looks while striking a pose? Like she's trying to be cute but still comes off scary? XD

I adore Mary, she kicks all kinds of ass and is both terrifying and sympathetic at the same time
