In the fourth panel of Chapter 40, Page 37 it looks like "childs play" should have an apostrophe: child's play

And in the second word balloon in that panel it looks like "on thier own" should be "on their own".

At the end of the fifth panel it also looks like "knoweldge" should be "knowledge".

I'd like to point out more typos in page two of the intermission:

Paragraph 1, last line: responsbily -> responsibly

Paragraph 2, line 3: escelated -> escalated

Paragraph 3, line 3: hiddeous -> hideous

Last paragraph, last line: flesh eating -> flesh-eating (this is more of a suggestion)

And one more, in page three of the intermission:

Paragraph 1, line 1: recieved -> received

So that wasn't an invisible Suspiria who just wasn't going to take any chances when she checked how loyal Crest would be? Because that's what I thought. Makes perfect sense that it'd be that invisible watcher though.

In the first panel of Chapter 38, Page 19 "it's host" should be "its host".

In the sixth panel of Chapter 38, Page 26 it says "I want to to" instead of just "I want to".

I'm thinking that Crest's role was to hear what Qtalda just admitted. Whether or not Suspiria will live through this still seems to be up in the air. Sure, she might have the power to survive, but if she needed Crest there to witness the event, possibly with one of those sending stones or whatever they're called, then she might be willing to sacrifice herself to reveal the truth.

Or perhaps she just sacrificed a clone? Because who knows what strange powers she might have.

Looks like Suspiria was too much of a genius for them to contain with their web of deceit. Win some, lose everything. :o

Well, maybe. I guess there's a small possibility that she won't kill them all and destroy everything they've worked so hard to build.

And in the next word balloon in Chapter 38, Page 16, "thier" should be "their". And in the last word balloon in that page, "dissapear" should be "disappear".

Ahhh, Qtalda, you executioner, you. I wonder if it's legal to wipe memories from traumatised children in the hopes that they won't grow up to want revenge for their dead criminal parents? Seems a bit iffy to me, but maybe the Phalanx can do stuff like that with no legal repercussions?

Maytag read a lot of books when she was a kid, so she might be curious enough to want to know more. Especially if he can offer her something worthwhile. Maybe he can turn her into a telepathic broadcaster, so that she won't need to hand out magic stones to everyone who wants to listen to her talk? Or something like that. You can do a lot with the Qualia, no matter what your goals might be. The other girls who were experimented on didn't seem very altruistic either. (Let's just hope that Maytag doesn't force everyone to listen to her talk, whether they want to or not. Because that would be evil.)

In the last panel of Chapter 37, Page 24 it looks like "recieve" should be "receive".

In the first panel of Chapter 37, Page 25 it looks like there's a period after "impossible" that shouldn't be there.

And in the next word balloon it looks like "apparenly" should be "apparently".

And personally I would've put the "apparently" in a different place, because I'm not sure it's grammatically appropriate to have it where it is now. I'm thinking that "isn't apparently" means "is not apparently", which possibly implies that the source is all-knowing, but that it is 'not apparent' that it is all-knowing. Which seems to go against what the Thin Man seems to say. So I would have gone with one of two alternatives:

So apparently the source of my power isn't "all-knowing."
or
So the source of my power is apparently not "all-knowing."

In the third panel of Chapter 37, Page 30 it looks like "tommorow" should be "tomorrow".

Magic works by sending a magic request to the artificial intelligence that is simulating the world. A properly made request will then be fulfilled, while improperly made requests do not get fulfilled, or may have unintended side effects. Slim Dude, that is sooo freaky. The world isn't real?! :o

The second caption in Chapter 37, Page 15 has "thier" instead of "their".

In the fifth panel of Chapter 37, Page 17 it looks like "porbably" should be "probably".

In the second panel of Chapter 37, Page 6 I believe that "confidant" should be "confident". Because confidant with an "a" is someone you share your secrets with, not how sure you are of something.

And in Chapter 37, Page 8 (2013 Buffer Failure 01) it looks like the tail on the first word balloon in the second panel should point to Maytag and not to Bernadette.

In the last panel of Chapter 36, Page 23 it looks like "some the appearance" should be either "some appearance" or "the appearance".

And in the third panel of Chapter 36, Page 29 it looks like "argee" should be "agree".

Seems plausible enough. But it could also be that only the 'failures' get sent away. Or that only the failures get noticed by others, while the young women who end up well-adjusted to society simply keep their mouths shut and go on living happy lives, either working for Lehm or working for themselves. Given that the Thin Man has a reputation for creating monsters, it's easy to see why any given woman might not want it known that she's in any way associated with him.

Right now I'm leaning towards the scam setup being a way to flatter Maytag into thinking she's really, really special to have figured it out so quickly. Help them with that thing, Maytag! You're their only hope!

I really hope we eventually get to a point in the story where it's not just "Maytag is the most amazingest person in the entire world ever and can out-talk any situation with any person in the whole wide world because she's so smart and cool and savvy and amazing".

So then, I take it you are predicting that Maytag will be in complete control of this situation, fail to be surprised at anything, and talk her way out of it?  Let's see if your prediction is right...
What? Are you suggesting that they arranged this whole charade just so Maytag could 'catch' them and feel all savvy and clever and on top of things, when this is all part of Plan A? Except she's well aware of that possibility, so she knows she must pretend to feel clever so they'll think that they've got her mind where they want it. But they too are aware that she might be aware, so more subterfuge awaits! :)

Actually, I'm pretty sure these guys did do their homework, so it does seem more likely that they do know what she's capable of. After all, they have plans for her. Plans that depend on those mental abilities. And the Thin Man is hardly the easily foiled type of villain, is he? It's not as if he's regularly put in Arkham Asylum by Batman.

But what if Rhodes is actually the "thin man", and all the other characters introduced in this environment are the puppets?
That's an interesting idea. Certainly didn't consider that possibility. And he does appear to be the only 'real' person there. All the others seem to be highly unnatural. And as the supposed 'ally' of the only real prisoner, perhaps he intended to get her to confide in him so he could find out how to best modify her? Though I guess that could've been his job no matter who is the real Thin Man.

That last panel of page 14, is that where Maytag gets tired of the good cop/bad cop routine they've arranged to make her side with the Thin Man? Because those eyes do not look amused.

In Ch34 Pg 16 Panel 1 it looks like "accepeted" should be "accepted".

And in the first panel of Chapter 34, Page 21 it looks like "hiddeous" should be "hideous".

In the second panel of Chapter 34, Page 30 I think "thier" should be "their" (last word balloon in that panel).

In the second panel of Chapter 35 Page 27 it looks like "say" should be "sat".

In the fourth line from the bottom of Chapter 0 Page 2, "thier" should be "their".

The dragon was only up for 1 day, sorry about that if you missed it.  Maybe I'll put it up again later.
I'll keep my eye out then. And Vennice was nice. :)

Post-Apocalyptic Grant was everything I could have hoped for. :)

My new request is: Vennice, playing with fire! :o

I don't remember seeing a dragon though. Was it up for two days or just one? If it was only one day, perhaps I voted on the wrong time of day? Or does the vote incentive automatically switch exactly when the new voting day starts (at midnight in Pacific Time)? I often get my voting done early, but sometimes late. So there can easily be 40 hours between voting, without actually missing a day. Just missing a vote incentive if it's only up for 24 of those hours.
