Title: Just a little rant...
Post by: Pozf on March 28, 2009, 09:31:21 am: Ok so right to the point. College it cost money right? Right. This semester cost about 500$ more than it did last semester from the economy, which I expect to happen. I don't really pay much comparatively to some schools as it is a state school (I paid 1993.00 this semester). Ok.. so maybe it wasn't right to the point

I got a notice that i have a payment due in two weeks and I never actually looked at what I'm paying for. Heres the rundown:
Accident Insurance Fee 12$ sure Okay I understand this one makes sense

Credit Card convenience Fee 10$ saw this one coming cause I had to agree to it

Full-Time Tuition Spring 1688$ again saw it coming

Laboratory Fee 50$ Necessary as I take a Chem class with a lab

Records maintenance 24$

Student Activity fee 84$ This is a charge I have a deal with Everybody has to pay it, wtf is this for now? Plays 'n stuff? why should I have to pay for it if I'm not going to do it..

Technology Fee 75$ little pricey but necessary i suppose*

Tuition payment plan fee 40$

Vehicle Registration fee 10$ this is the charge that has me ticked off. Granted it's only 10$ but I'm broke as fuck right now I have NO money except what to pay my tuition with. Also I don't drive there, my cousin does but he has to pay 10$ for his too. It seems like it would be so easy to just make you pay 10$ for the dammed sticker instead of charging EVERYBODY 10$. This charge seems like a damn good way to get a couple 1,000$ extra (I'm pretty sure it has about 3 to 4thousand students per semester maybe more... Lets say about 100+ [pulling this number out of my ass] don't park maybe they get dropped off or are close enough to walk.) because nobody cares. "Oh it's only 10$ w/e" *grumble grumble*

.... FUCK! I know it may seem like I'm over reacting after all it's only 10 dollars... but its just the fricken principle of it!.... Hate... I mean do they charge every student for a laboratory Fee? even if they don't take any kind of science class?

Trying to get out of a fucking parking spot, had my reversing lights on and the fucking bitch does not move to let me fucking out, when i do manage to get out with a little bit of carful manouvering with out fucking up her car she fucking has the fucking nerve to reverse back into it the bitch!
