I'm assuming that at least some of the readers of Flipside (and if I remember correctly, even mr. Foulke himself ) are gamers.
So, question is, what are you currently playing?
You can list games you've played/your favourite games as well, if you want.
As for me:
Currently Playing Silent Hill 2, whilst pissing my pants every now and then.
Other favourites: ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts I&II, World of Warcraft.
-
Currently playing:
Fallout 3 (modded for increased realism and/or fun)
Empire Total War
Other favourites: The C&C series (the original story-line with the brotherhood's struggle against the evil GDI) The fallout series, WarCraft Orcs & Humans, WarCraft 2, Dune 2, the Civilization series, World in Conflict, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shadow of Chernobyl, Dungeon keeper etc...
-
I'm currently playing one of four games:
Rock band 2
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Fallout 3
Phantasy star online
-
I'm in the middle of replaying Fallout 3. Also playing through Valkyria Chronicles, the ds remake of final fantasy 4, and occasionally on Megaten online.
-
I just bought the first Splinter Cell through Steam and beat it, since it was the only one I hadn't beat yet. Good times.
-
Restarted Playing Dawn of War Soulstorm as the Orks jsut now
-
Started playing ffVIII just now.
-
Ewwwwww VIII bad
Go play VI or IV >.>;
-
Playing quest for glory 4

Double post for the loss!
But I need to annouce that Portal is awesome... even though you all knew that already. Then I'm off to play D2: LoD
-
Now primarily playing Dawn of War 2
-
Double post for the loss!
But I need to annouce that Portal is awesome... even though you all knew that already. Then I'm off to play D2: LoD
This was a triumph!
-
Cannot.. stop.. playing.. Company of Heroes..
-
(ahem) I SAID...
This was a triumph!
-
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
-
"making a note here/ HUGE SUCCESS!/ Its hard to overstate my satisfaction./Aperture Science/We do what we must/ because we can.
Ok I'm not typing out any more... even though i do have the whole song memorized
-
Playing Company of Heroes: Opposing fronts as the 2nd SS panzer Korps

It was supposed to be one line per post, but you kinda killed it >_>
But why am I still talking while there's science to do?
-
i am playing Mirrors edge again, along with Lost odyssey, and RE5
-
I want to play that soooooo bad [drools/]
I am just poor. Too poor to buy the latest games.
They rent out consoles at my local gamestore by the hour. I want to beat it so bad I just might do that.
My boyfreind said he might buy me a console for my birthday though.
An older one like Playstation 2 or the Original Xbox, but not used.
I'd like to buy one with a reliable processor and lots of quality games I can pick up for cheap. What do you guys suggest. :D
-
I'd like to buy one with a reliable processor and lots of quality games I can pick up for cheap. What do you guys suggest. :D
I donno which has a better processor, but ps2 has a huge library of games to choose from, while Xbox has better online I'm personally a fan of ps2.
I spent all day playing sonic 3 & sonic and knuckles on my sega
-
KOL, FFVII(is stuck and frustrated with this one), fire red pokemonz , and cooking mamma!
so one online game with 6-7 characters. one ps game. and two DS games.
i need to go back to playing Tinkerbell.....
-
Back on Fallout 3, this time in a Tactical Dreadnaught armor and armed with a Bolter... Armor-piercing mass reactive HE with delayed detonation really makes those muties and Enclave troopers drop like flies... (unfortunately no one has made a stormbolter or 40k power-fist mod yet)
-
My brother's video card came with Call of Duty: World at War, so I'm gonna be beating that soon.
-
Restarting Company of Heroes:Oposing Fronts as the 2nd SS Panzer Korps since it crashed on me before I could save it
-
My cousin brought Mass effect last night, so that has gained top priority.
-
What "last gen" console should I buy? Playstation 2 or Xbox?
-
PS2
-
What "last gen" console should I buy? Playstation 2 or Xbox?
Neither, invest in upgrading or replacing your PC and download a set of console-game emulators for it...
-
I don't own a PC. I use the college's.
-
I don't own a PC. I use the college's.
Is there a reason for this?
Also, if you are going to buy a last gen console, PS2 is really the only option. People are still...still publishing games for it.
-
None at all...
[outburst] EXCEPT I'M FUCKING POOR! [/outbust]
I've seen computers regularly go for 1,000 bucks a peice just to be outdated 2 years later. I just can't afford that right now. :(
Thanks for the advice though. :D
-
Still play my PS2 have not got a round to get a X box or PS3 yet
-
So it's totally worth it, then.
What games do you suggest for a first timer. I like first person shooters like halo and fighting games like street fighter. Occasionally I like adventure games like sonic the hedgehog.
-
I really need a good, stationary gaming PC. The only game my laptop can handle is "The Curse of Monkey Island." I used to play tons of games on my dad's computer, and I miss them. ;_;
Can't afford a stupid ps3 either.
-
I have a Xbox360. My PC can barely run windows...
I have about 15-20 games for the Xbox, but right now I only play Spiderman Web of Shadows (which is the most awesomest game ever cuz it's got spiderman in it ;D yes I am a fanatic spiderman fan)
I also like FPSs and action adventure games like Assassin's Creed (which I also have and was totally awesome to play)
-
If you guys who need computers, and have the money, I HIGHLY suggest you build your own desktop. It is way more cost effective, and easily done with just a smidge of research
-

Computer says no.
J/K - I'm not good with computers! I can't build one myself. D: I don't even know where/what the motherboard is! I just know the computer is a funny machine that entertains me and sometimes shouts something about trojans... (Ahem.)
-
LoL! You know, those greek computers are not to be trusted... ;)
As part of the computers for non-geeks, the motherboard is the cirquit board that everything else is connected to, and that the processor and BIOS chip is mounted on. It's the one cirquit board aside from a graphic's card that likely has the most cooling arrays (looks like square metal hedgehogs, sometimes with plastic fans on top)
-
Is there a fatherboard, too?
*Is shot*
-
Nope, all computers are female, that's why they are so stubborn and tempramental in their unique personalities XD
-
Oh, I see! That explains the monthly lagging and whining and not wanting to play certain media files...
-
it does, doesn't it? :P
-
What should I get for playstation 2 guys?
Guys? :(
-
well you can start off getting....a game pad *whistle*
-
Ronin: ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. THOSE ARE A MUST!
-
Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3.
Devil May Cry
Okami
Katamari Damacy / We Love Katamari
Disgaea
erm... a lot of other ones?
-
Marvel vs Capcom 2
both of the games from the Castlevania series (Lament of Innocence > Curse of Darkness but they're both good)
Final Fantasy X
Drakenguard
-
Pozf: You're the only male I've met who actually liked Final fantasy X. :-*
-
X was a great game. Albeit very easy, fun to break too. Had a Tidus with a fully completed sphere grid
-
Cool. ^^ I loved the game, really. Incredibly beautiful.
-
I liked Final Fantasy X too.
Ronin, there's a Street Fighter Anthology for PS2 that has SF2 and SF3.
If you like adventure games, Tomb Raider Legends is good. I think all of the PS2 Tomb Raider games are supposed to be good.
You should definitely try Katamari Damacy! Also, definitely ICO and Shadow of the Colossus!
I have no idea what FPS are good for PS2, don't own any. I'm sure there must be plenty, though.
-
Just bought and will be playing the Painkiller "triple dose" disk. ( Painkiller, Painkiller: battle out of hell, and Painkiller: overdose)
I wonder if there is a mod that makes guns have tits and lights them on fire...
Edit: the giant penis extension gun is Awesome! Yet to find the gun that shoots shurikens and lightning >.<
-
I'm still waiting on ff13 :'(
For now i play fallout 3 and mmorpg Rappelz
-
If I were u i'd get an xbox bcos thr much cheaper thn a PS3 and they have better games as well! ;D
-
Playing through MGS4 again. This game is still one of the best, if not the best release for the ps3 so far. :P
-
Brion, I always respected you, but now I love you!
-
Nope, all computers are female, that's why they are so stubborn and tempramental in their unique personalities XD
Mine is male. I named it Starscream.
I'm sure you can figure out why that might be.
On the subject of games, several months ago I purchased a used Gamecube for the sole purpose of owning my own copy of Twilight Princess. I picked up Wind Waker at the same time, and recently got a cheap used copy of Soul Calibur II for a lark.
Now, if I can just find a used Harvest Moon I'll be completely satisfied with my last gen game collection. :P
-
Does it transform into something cool!!?
-
I liked Final Fantasy X too.
Ronin, there's a Street Fighter Anthology for PS2 that has SF2 and SF3.

Thanks! Thats what I'll get! :-*
Love the SFII and SFIISCA arcade games (super SFII blows chunks BTW ::))
By the know this is heresy, but I actually liked Final Fantasy X and (Espeshally :-[) Final Fantasy X-2.
Yes I am a shamless shill for pictures of pretty girls. Whatcha gonna do! :D
-
By the know this is heresy, but I actually liked... Final Fantasy X-2.
*Points finger angrily* It's pretty pretty princess dress up!!!
-
Maybe that's why I like it? :P :-[ :-*
-
xP I still say it doesn't exist. xP
-
Me too.
I hated how they turned shy, sweet, pleasant Yuna into some slut in short shorts that jumps around dancing like an airheaded bitch. I like to pretend the story ended after FFX.
-
Sorry. :o
Struck a cord there I guess. Knew I might, but I like that game. Like Pozf said, it's Pretty Princess Dressup :P, and then you get to kill things. I Love It! :-*
-
I would never enjoy that pansy stuff... /flex
So, has anyone ever played with Kiss Dolls? (there were some interesting pron varients that were popular...enough.... years ago)
-
I'm not much of a gamer, so I can't say I'm playing this or that right now. I've never managed to finish a larger campaign.
But I do programm my own game. (Which I will probably never play much, because of what I said above.) From what I've read her, it probably would bore most of you. (Tile based, turn based. If you don't know what that means, google Wesnoth as an example.) I don't have a big team, just me. Perhaps one could say, programming without much pressure is like gaming to me.
-
Hans, is it a strategy game or RPG you're making?
-
Hans, is it a strategy game or RPG you're making?
It's planned as strategy game, like colonization or civilization. With higly modifyable szenario files.
I might add some roleplay functionality later, like actions after a specific turn count, when on player enters a specific field, builds a object on a specific field, or things like that. But first I have to finish the basics, which is strategy.
-
Cool! *dreams away to the glorious days of Sid Meier's first Civilization game as played from floppy discs on a friend's Amiga 500*
-
I still play freeciv these days, too >.>
That is cool.
-
I liked FFX-2 also, not ashamed to admit it. The story was sparse and got more and more lame as it went along, but there were plenty of things that I liked about it. But I'm a sucker for the "job system" in any of it's incarnations. (FF5 is the most fun game of the series.)
I even like FF8, even though the fighting system is totally broken. The only FF game I really don't care for is FF2j.
But on a different subject, right now I am finally getting to play through Phoenix Wright, and I LOVE this game! Can't wait to play the sequels!
-
Ah the Amiga still have mine up here in the attic :) happy days of blowing up the old spectrums since they could not handle my home made programmes
-
Oh Ronin, you don't have to apologize for liking something we don't like? :'( I mean... I love Salmiak, and I'm pretty much most other people hate it.
And Brion - yes, I agree that when it came to playableness and fun fights and such, FFX-2 was good. It was just that... It completely butchered the original story, AND an original character. ;_;
-
What?! There are people out there who don't like salty licorice? :o
-
I like lots of dumb girly stuff! :-*
If you looked at my anime collection you'd know! :-*
I also like some video games based on movies (witch is also herisy acording to video game magizines) like Lion King and Alladin for the Saga Genisis! :P
-
What?! There are people out there who don't like salty licorice? :o
It's so delicioussss <3
-
Hehehe, that reminds me of something I whipped out of my ass for the forums a while back, Brion.
I enjoyed the phoenix wright games, too >.>
-
What?! There are people out there who don't like salty licorice? :o
It's so delicioussss <3
Oh yeah! Though I most often prefer sweet licorice, especially the skipper's pipes variety :P
-
never liked licorice tastes sour to me.
-
Noooooooooooo, the ds froze as I was playing ff4 and I haven't saved in a while. (http://www.akashayi.net/random/icon_banghead.gif)
-
Awww...
Well, I'm about to start the 'Broken Steel' expansion's content for Fallout 3 (In a heavily modded environment) The mods include: cooler melting effects on plasma crits, a number of different WH40k Space marine armors including the tactical dreadnaught variety. Bolters has been added, as well as a few weird-ass Fat-man variants. Other that that, I've decreased the item deterioration and auto-fire spread to realistic levels aswell as increased the number of critters spawned at random in the wasteland by 3-5 times.
-
Replaying Eternal Sonata on the 360. Wish I could play the new version on the PS3, but I don't have one.
-
I have it ^^; but I haven't beaten it. Too many other good games to play through.
-
Apparently you can change costumes and they redid the ending. I want it. *_*
I really wish I had a PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4, though.
-
Yes.
Yes, you do.
-
Kicking back with some Super Mario World 2 >.>;
-
God of War II for the Playstation 2!
Got it for my birthday, it's kinda hard! :D
-
I'm currently getting my bum raped by Resident Evil 5 :D Its super fun though in co-op mode!
... as you all already know i'm also playing WoW <_<;;
-
currently playing Company Of Heroes: Opossing Fronts on skirmish mode and dropping airstrikes and straffing runs on the AI enemy.
-
Soldner-X, and it's really pretty. o_o
-
Currently playing mario party 4 :P
A game that doesn't support HD on my brother HD monitor...
-
I am now on the boss battle in God of War II where you fight the Three Fates! Yay ME!!!! :D
-
Naughty Sorceress DOWN. Will be moving onto Hobopolis within the next day or two. (KoL)
-
As of now I'm playing:
Wii: MadWorld, No More Heroes, Super Paper Mario
Xbox360: Tales of Vesperia, Gears of War 2, Street Fighter 4
-
Damn. I beat the first 2 fates, but there is this endurance challege where I have to kill like 2 of every monster in the game before I fight the last one. It's pissing me off. I just don't have enough life (or enough room to manuever >:() to finish it >:(.
-
Well move outside and drink more Red Bull :P
-
mmm ./sips more redbull
I'm trying out neosteam now, since atlus bought it, is fixing it and now is in open beta.
-
I'm playing Oblivion every once and a while. I've been working a lot more lately though. But love the game, just goes to show you don't have to have everything down pat for the graphics just to make an awesome game!
note: I'm talking about the face structures, hideous!
-
Heh. I got my modeler friend to customize the face of my main oblivion character, so she ended up being really hot :D
-
Oh wow how did he do that? it was for sure on the PC version right?
-
He's a professional modeler for blur, so .... black magic is my best guess. And yes, it was for pc.
-
Blur? Whats that? Is it a company?
-
I recently picked up Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines. It's kinda interesting
Going to beat MGS4 this time through.
-
Do it :) Worth beating.
I picked up Cellfactor: Psychokinetic wars off of the PSN. It uses the unreal engine, which is to say it's just another unreal clone. It has it's interesting quirks, but eh. It was only 9$ and it's still fun to run around and shoot people in the head when you're frustrated with something else.
-
Beat Silent Hill 2! (I got the "Leave"-ending, for those who are curious.)
Trying to play SH3, only to find that it's not only scarier, but more difficult than SH2. Those monsters take forever to die! And I'm always out of bullets. ;_;
-
Throw Flipside BricksTM at them ;D
-
Baldur's Gate II. Man is this game addicting!
-
Going to a diabloII/starcraft birthday lan this weekend.
./continues to rock out
-
Currently playing: Half-Life 2 ep. 2
Other favorites: Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Team Fortress 2, Flower (YEAH HARDCORE, RIGHT?), Devil Summoner: Raido Kuzunoha, Mirror's Edge, and a lot of others. :-X
-
Going to a diabloII/starcraft birthday lan this weekend.
./continues to rock out
Do a all paladin party. never been able to do one, because the people i've played, suck.
1 Holy freeze(zeal), 1 conviction (vengeance) , 1 fanat(zeal), 1 concentration (zeal).
... how many people? :P
Edit: Download plug Y.
It's a D2 mod that lets you use the Bnet ladder only stuff while you're offline. It's also got some extra random pages on you character window for info... and lots of other random crap that some people might find interesting. (shared stash between characters, extra storage space, extra skill/stat points per level.)
I never play without it anymore.
-
so i am stuck on the final boss in GOD OF WAR 2.
Mostly for lack of trying. Also, i am feining for battles with droves of little enimies, and Zues is not little. I don't really want to beat it becuase that means I'll have to buy a new video game. So I am putting it off for now.

Heh heh heh, I know how that is...
I must've beaten No More Heroes 20 times before I actually went out and got a new game.
-
OMG rpg maker xp, it took my brain and my time :'(
-
Still trying to play SH3.
And ff8, still.
By the way, and I the only one who thought ff12 sucked chocobo balls?
-
Baldur's Gate II. Man is this game addicting!
It goes to show how fantastic a game is that it's still awesome to play through time and time again even after a decade.
I've been thinking of reinstalling it again...just not now, though.
-
Ah, Baldur's Gate is one of those good games you can go back and play. I've done that quite a bit with the first NWN. >.>
-
Just beat "The Curse of Monkey Island" for... The third time?
-
Like sports games and fantasy creatures? Try 'Blood Bowl' reccomended by a very good friend of mine. Havn't tried it myself though.
-
Samurai Shodown. The original. Man it's fucking hard. Partially becuase the special moves don't input as easily as they should.
-
It's all about Tuberculosis Man (Ukyo). (I loved the Samurai Showdown series when I was younger)
-
It's all about Tuberculosis Man (Ukyo). (I loved the Samurai Showdown series when I was younger)
Man, if I had a nickel for every samurai with tuberculosis.
-
I'm pretty close-minded when it comes to fighting games, if it isn't Street Fighter it sucks.
Automatically.
Also, Sagat is clearly broken and should...go away or something.
-
It's all about Tuberculosis Man (Ukyo). (I loved the Samurai Showdown series when I was younger)
Yeah. I beat the second game with him. He is such a fun and awsome character.
1. He practices Iajitzu, the art of attcking and unsheathing ones sword at the same time. Any character who uses this tecnique they're in danger of becoming one of my favorite characters ever. Ruroni Kenshin does it as his ultiment attack. Clearly it's made of awsome.
2. He fights with his back to you, which is also made of awsome.
3. He is at onece a bishonen and a chick magnet at the same time, simotaniously appealing to my gay side for being so pretty and appealing to my straight side for being so cool that fangirls chase after him.
-
I'm thinking of "obtaining" the Monkey Island games.
Actually, adventure games in general. I miss that genre.
-
I don't know what that is, but I think that platforming is kinda fun.
Um... sorry hard-core-gamer-people, don't hurt me.
-
I'm thinking of "obtaining" the Monkey Island games.
Actually, adventure games in general. I miss that genre.
I just beat the third one for the first time in years. :D First time I could understand -all- of the dialogue.
-
Dude, I still have a working copy of secret of monkey island. Awesome game.
Games have changed, but there is still some love for the genre left. It tripped me out to find out that Yahtzee was responsible for '5 days a stranger' and it's sequels since they were fairly well known.
hm... I've been itching to play space quest vii again, too >.>
-

But I can't stand the 2010 teaserness.
-
Well unfortunatly the ff is online... :(
Metroid never had my interrest, but the castlevania trailer looked awesome!
-
can't wait for 14
and Metroid games and Castlevania games are my top 2 favorite series.
The Castlevania looks like they combined god of war with a much better series.
-
I'm looking forward to Lords of Shadow :)
-
Do you guys know if there is ever going to be another Halo game?
I like Halo. :-*
Also, Have any of you played MTG Duel of the Planeswalkers on Xbox 360?
It's kind of awsome and it's actually a pretty good simulation of real magic cards. I recommend it.
-
I sprained my ankle, so I've been passing hours with emulators of games I do & don't have X)
I played thru persona 2: innocent sin (the non-US released one) and got to the final boss before he reamed me with "hit 18" (allots a random number and then deals that damage 18 TIMES!!)... So I am taking a break from that. for now
I also put an emulator for SNES on my psp, and have been playing a few games
-Swat kats Radical squadron: is Really awesome I <3 swat kats
-super metroid: i've gotten pretty far in
-Super mario world... again: I cant count the times I've played thru this
-Lupin the third: way better than that Ps2 abomination
-earthworm Jim: the only game I've played where you get pissed and scream WHY ARE ALL THESE COWS ON FIRE!!?
-the original clock tower: it's kinda scary ((O_O)) and hard to run away
and has anyone play haunting ground? cause it has the funniest line in any horror game I've ever played
-
Might I suggest you play 7th saga? It is one of the hardest games you will ever play, and will probably hate me forever after you try to play it. :P
But I might just go try haunting grounds.
-
ooh I like hard ^^
and you should give it a try cause it is pretty fun.
-
I've been on an old dos game kick, looking up stuff I used to play.
But a lot of stuff that was on abandonia just got relicensed by some stupid game company who wants to sell dos games ./annoyed
-
I'm on disc 3 of Lost Odyssey. I was skeptical at first, but it turned out to be a very beautifully woven game. I'm very impressed, too bad there aren't more unique RPGs out there like it.
Speaking of new games, you guys hear about the new Zelda game? >3 Miyamoto released only a piece of concept art: http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2009/06/fullzelda.jpg (http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2009/06/fullzelda.jpg)
Though this is probably old news by now.
-
Trying to play Silent Hunter 4
-
Been mostly playing starcraft with friends lately >.>
-
I got Wii Sports Resort, it was supposed to be for my niece and nephew but uh...heh... ;D
-
So I just finished God of War II and I've gotta say; the ending sucks ass. Athena, who is basicaly the only who isn't a total asshole is randomly killed in a cut scene.
And other annoying stuff happens, but that is the main one. GAAAR! >:(
-
Just got out of another epic game of Starcraft with some friends over. We also tried playing Age of Mythology again, o.O
I... as most nights... will likely not sleep soon.
-
Playing Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta... As a WH40k Terminator... Purging the Alien, The Mutant, The Heretic in the holy flames of Terra
-
And here's me thinkng you are a Choas player.
-
I am, but there was no chaos terminator power armor mod for Fallout3 :(
-
FFX International version this time though
Sphere grid is much better
-
Odd, I have found a chaos marine armor mod for Fallout3 as well as a power sword-adding mod, so now I'm running around as 'very evil' in a World Eater armor wielding a two-handed power sword :P
-
Heresay burn the alien, purge the heretic!! :P
-
I've already killed off everyone at the temple of the union, and vault 101 and intends to 'reclaim' the republic of Dave :P
-
Just got ff7 again on the psn, putting it on my psp for play through... from what I can see, they've done a really good job on this port. :D
ps1 games always look kinda nice on the psp, too.
-
I'm addicted to Persona 3 at the moment.
-
i am currently working on Halo (yes, the first one. i'm a little late to the party, i know. shush.) Viva Pinata: Lost in Paradise. (it was $10 and its fun, shut up.) and Ninja Town. (lol)
hurray for gamers. <3
-
Got the new Batman game recently. Arkham Asylum is one crazy place. It's a pretty fun game!
-
Oh my. I finally grabbed Fat Princess after wanting it for a while.
Options in the menu... "Play with yourself"
there's also "Play with others" and "Twiddly Knobs"
XD
I'm totally playing with myself right now
-

Right got two new(ish) games today for my Laptop, Dawn of War II and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. The question to you all is what do I install and play first?
-
DoW2, it probably has the least re-playability
-
Playing quake live on a bed with a bunch of laptop bearing geek friends. Ah, good times.
-
Contemplating to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. again
-
lately i've been playing supreme commander: forged alliance.
-
I've been going old-school twitch lately, and been playing a lot of Quakelive. It's good fun, even though I'm just playing casually, I'm pretty good.
-
Heh, yeah, I was happy picking up quake live and finding out I didn't completely suck :P
I'm Amaryl on quake live, but probably wont be on much.
Speaking of older school kicks, I picked up Morrowind again last night in some attempt at fighting insomnia.

I'll be playing God hand soon.
Which apparently you can spank enemies to death in... no seriously I just watched my cousin spank a woman to death
-
Spanking can be hot, but spanking to death... Not so hot.
I'm playing Final Fantasy X again! And I noticed that, on S.S Liki, you can see little dolphins jumping in the water beside the boat! Never noticed that before.
-
I've been playing Cave Story lately.
-
I've been playing Cave Story lately.
Doukutsu Monogatari! Loved that game...
props +1
-
Still aquiring God Hand,
Bought Arkham Asylum
-
But not fat princess? :P
-
no, keeps slipping my mind, I'll gladiate with you eventually.
-
Playing destroy all humans on the PS2 just remembered I never got round to completing it while I did manage to complete the second.
-
Downloading psychonauts off steam now, should blow throw that in a day or two.
Which is taking forever...
-
forever and a day ^_^
-
Been playing Nocturne and replaying Neverwinter Nights 2. They're both so addicting.
-
started playing svencoop 4.07 (of course now that they wrote fmod into it, it crashes all the time)
-
I've mostly been playing Guild Wars of late. I've owned the game for some time but haven't actually FINISHED it, hopefully this time I will actually find the dedication to do more than just tinker around with builds, though I do enjoy trying things out and finding they work quite well.
-
I picked up persona for the PSP. it is good so far, not great. it was worth the soundtrack though. i am thinking about playing through mass effect again. and picking up the DLC so i can properly prepare for the awesome that is MA2
I'm addicted to Persona 3 at the moment.
is it your first playthrough? or are you going for the multiple3 plays?
-
More importantly, who are you dating? The kendo girl?
-
More importantly, who are you dating? The kendo girl?
That's right who are you dating?! I know i always go for yuko, or are you saving yourself for yukari or mitsuru perhaps?
-
Well I just bought fat princess... but I won't be playing it anytime soon as I also just downloaded a dozen or so rock band songs >.>;
Edit: Playing THIS (http://www.kongregate.com/games/MoonberryStudios/picma) while I can't get to my PS3. I love nonograms.
-
I haven't actually played it, but I am very very hyped about BRUTAL LEGEND.
I watched an entire (probably about 5 hours!) walkthrough online and I've got to say, it looks FUCKING AWESOME!
Like a lot. The art for the game is epic, the mechanics seem pretty fun and easy to grasp and the storyline is pretty damn cool as well. It's basically like, your a roady and you wake up in this world that is basically what would happen if every heavy metal album cover ever exploded at once. It's by the same guys that did Phychonaughts (sp?) so it has a lot of great stuff in it just like that game (btw one of my favorite games ever). Just because of that, though, I was worried it was going to be a little for kids, but it's for grown ups. Which, considering the source material, is a lot better.
-
I just reset my save data in The Last Guy in order to play through again to unlock bonus levels and gain trophies.
All that hard work, deleted in a swift stroke as if it never was. There's some zen parallel to life in this, but it hurts us all the same.
Fuck it, here's to saving the screaming masses from zombies again.
-
a guy in German class today some guy gave me 8 computer games, since he was quitting. he gave me:
Call of duty2
battlefeild2
half-life: platinum collection
half-life2
half-life2 episode 1
Oblivion
Quake4
unreal tournament 2004
and battlefield2: special forces
awesome?

A friend of mine lent me a copy of half minuet hero... EPIC
Imagine 3o seconds to 3 minutes of pure rpg fun you can pick up and put down whenever you want. and then add a shooter and rts that does the same and you have the awesome that is half minute hero.
needless to say i bought it
-
Hello Borderlands...
Goodbye, life.
-
Back in Pripyat and the vincinity of Chernobyl reactor 4 sarcophagus for me :P eg: playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
-
Dante's Inferno.
..............yes.
-
I finished assassin's creed 2 recently, i just need to wait for Mass effect 2 now
-
I actually had access to a Mass Effect 2 alpha last night as well, but it was broken :(
Dante's Inferno is best described as.... EPIC. I can't wait until I can own it on my own T-T
Edit: Also, I'm still staring at the Assassin's Creed 2 box at home.... After Borderlands and Dragon Age.... Man, I haven't had the standard gamer dilemma in so long, it feels good. Was it awesome, No.Na.?
-
ME2 alpha! I'm jealous! too bad it was brokked tho
it was good I liked it, but now i want assassin's creed 3 to come out!
the last boss kinda sucks tho. but all in all much more fun then the first one. i had a few funny situations where i ran at a guard and tossed money at him instead of stabbing him XD
-
I'm punching horses in the face.
Oh, and killing Templars all over the place.
-
"The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace ... "
"Rabite gets whacked!"
-
I'm having my Caroliner infantry pillage Moscow!
-
The latest red faction - Basically, the game which could also be titled SPAAAAACE ASSHOOOOOOLE!
-
Oh?
I only played the demo for RF1, how is the latest installment?
-
Oh?
I only played the demo for RF1, how is the latest installment?
It's fucking ace, I spend 3/4 of my time just destroying things, and the rest, I spend destroying things but with a mission objective. I just took out a convoy by using the NanoRifle, by shooting out just enough supports on a very large bridge, and the weight of the convoy collapsed the thing - a few rockets to mop up, and it was all done.
It's just brilliant, destructive fun, the story is utter pap, but the game does what it does, and it does it well.
-
The one thing I miss in for instance fallout 3 is destructable environments!
-
The one thing I miss in for instance fallout 3 is destructable environments!
I'll admit, being armed with remote charges and a sledgehammer provides much opportunity for being a space asshole.
-
Fallout 3 was a better game by far.... ...it was a complete game, beautiful with an excellent story... so on and so forth...
RF is for randomly sitting down and smashing shit up. And god damn it feels good.
I'm still punching horses in the face though...
-
Still blowing things up with a battery of 8 105mm howertzers in Company Of Heroes.
-
Fallout 3 beeing a better game still doesn't make me miss landscape architecture any less :P
Just imagine the pleasure of making that walkway across the river from the citadel to collapse, killing the super-mutants occupying it in the process... or making new entrances to discover other areas of the wasteland that's otherwise blocked :P
-
Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius
Which i can only assume means Gradius on fucking acid with anime style characters.
-
Empire Total War... as Sweden, is far on the way to conquering russia ;D
-
Downloading League of Legends, we'll see how it goes.
-
Just discovered:
After downloading and installing the C&C4 BETA I noticed that my compy is seriously outdated and has to be upgraded singificantly to cope with it... the BETA that is... :-[
-
going to try and play Assassin's Creed on the..............PC
-
Girlfriend got me a new DS for my birthday...frantically looking for my Advance Wars:DoR game while playing pokemans :D
-
I got Devil may cry 4 for christmas and i'm currently playing thru must die mode
-
Installing Mass Effect 2, woooo
Unfortunately it doesn't appear that you can play it without the disk like ME 1.
-
Finally getting through Dragon Age. Man, this game is addictive. I might not get to Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 at this rate :P
-
Managed to complete Assassin's Creed going onto Brother's in Arms: Hell's Highway.
-
Playing Empire TW again, short campaign as Sweden, 99% probability of success! Conquered most of Russia with only three sieges, the rest of the regions surrendered on demand! And the Danish court has been forced in exile on iceland or Georgia, US mainland while Hannover was just utterny defeated and subjugated to Swedish rule. Only Preussia and Poland-Lithuania stands in the way of total victory and the Baltic sea as a Mare nostrum.

Ever try plaing a mod like APE? Vanilla TW games are always pretty easy for me once I cover enough territory. But make foreign populations resist you, increase the time it takes for new infrastructure and trade routes to become profitable, make your army a far more costly investment, and things get interesting. I've yet to actually win a game like that, but I wouldn't think of playing it any other way.
-
I might, but I want to actually finish a regular campaign first.
-
Final Fantasy XIII *'bout fucking time...*
-
I must be one of the only people not playing that right now. Soon....soon....
-
I must be one of the only people not playing that right now. Soon....soon....
I'm not. My view of FF was tainted by ten. It was like pac-man, just WAKKA WAKKA WAKKA
-
o.O
-
It's nothing special so far, 3 out of the 5 characters are annoying as fuck, it's extremely liner *waaaay more than usual* and the game is much easier by comparison dieing in battle causes you to restart Right before that battle, and you heal completely after every battle -.-
Though it is extremely shiny.
-
Just got Bioshock 2 *for free!*
Time to put my desktop through the paces.
-
nice! How's your new little demi-god holding up?
I've been taking a break from my large list of games to play and am currently running old school harvest moon through an emulator.
-
I'm playing C&C4 (as NOD of course) and Dawn of war 2 rise of chaos expansion with the intention of maximising corruption :P
-
nice! How's your new little demi-god holding up?
Well I'm running it on maxed out graphics and I haven't noticed the slightest bit of lag.
Edit:
Annnnd TIME!
gonna go play torchlight before i go back and beat bioshock 2 on: easy, evil, and with the drill
-
Liberal Crime Squad.
Best ascii/text adventure game ever. (people who made dwarf fortress made this)
http://lcs.wikidot.com/
later maybe...god of war III
-
That and left 4 dead 2, for some monotonous zombie killing fun.
Fuck yeah!
Have you tried The Passing campaign yet?
-
Ugh yeah, I've never had an entire team survive that but once on normal, and it usually takes 2 or 3 tries if we're playing on advanced.
I liked The Passing a lot, especially the M60, it works great if you find incendiary rounds while you still have plenty of ammo left.
Edit: was playing a bit of Monster Hunter Tri with my cousin earlier... it was really really crazy.
-
I just finished Time Gentleman, please! the hilarious, silly sequel to Ben there, Dan That! They're both 2D, point & click adventure games in the vein of Monkey Island only British and with a good bit of adult humor. The puzzles weren't too shabby although like every other adventure game I've tried I've had to turn to the FAQ at least once to get past an obstacle. But a quick Google search will easily provide walkthrus for both games if you too find yourself stuck at some point. The real fun of the game is really in the absurd dialogue the developers wrote and the zany situations they come up with. And they put a ton of it in there - just about everything you do/try will bring up a unique bit of dialogue. You can download the former for free on the developer's website, Zombie Cow Studios. (http://www.zombie-cow.com) And the sequel can apparently be purchased there as well although I personally picked both of these oddball gems from a $5 bundle pack at the game store/service Steam (http://store.steampowered.com). I really recommend them. Well the games that is. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I like Steam which it would seem you must use to play the games you purchase it through it and apparently cannot run without the internet on.
-
I picked up super R-type for the Snes for 2 bucks at a discount store with box and direction manuel which is awesome. i am playing that right now, I also picked up the new prince of persia since it was 9 bucks at blockbuster, but my brother Xbox Red Ringed D:
I played a bit of FF13 when it came out an I really want to buy it and play more. maybe it'll be the FF game i finish lol, I also have to pick up mass effect 2 since the semester is over and I'll have time to play it.
-
Zelda: Spirit tracks... I'm stuck on the damn last song.
-
I'm playing This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08hmqyejCYU&feature=related)
Picked this up again after about two years away.
There is no need to be coy, You can just tell us straight up that you're playing Excel: MMO edition.

Also one of the more accurate.
An amusing coincidence - Excel used to include a flight simulator built in as an easter egg.

Been playing a bit of Alien Swarm, lately. Surprisingly good little shooter

There are actually mods out there to make it a First person shooter instead of a third. Which is both interesting and stupid.

PC--
The Void
360--
Ketsui Extra, Mushihime-sama Futari
-

Not as stupid as you think - it's actually built on the source engine, which had to be modded in the first place to let it NOT be an FPS.
-
That's exactly why it is stupid, because then it just becomes another source based FPS.
That's also why it's interesting though because it's changes game play drastically, I can see not being able to see over the walls then getting raped by parasites as you turn a corner.
-

OM NOM NOM FACECRABS
well. The first person mods were bound to happen, but I'm more interested in what other fun things people are going to do with it. Haven't been able to grab any of the interesting looking survival maps people have made yet, either.
Still, good times

True, but the game was made to encourage people to do things differently and mod the source engine more. It's ironic, not stupid, that the first thing they did was to mod the game that encourages people to do different mods for the source engine was to make that game into an FPS.
-
Anyone know about 4story? Its a F2P mmorpg that supposedly has graphics styled like WoW but is also similar to MapleStory in its "premium items" and whatnot. I downloaded it but i cant get it to work because the hack shield picks up nearly everything as a "cheat program".

Been playing a bit of Alien Swarm, lately. Surprisingly good little shooter
i started playing this and i have to say its pretty well made
-
Wii-- Red Steel 2. Very fun and satisfying game. Recommended for any Wii owner, even if you didn't like the first game. In fact, especially if you didn't like the first game. It's what Red Steel 1 should have been all along, and the MotionPlus device (required for it, but optionally included with it for $10 more) makes all the difference in the world.
Sega Saturn-- DonPachi. No fucking clue why, when it's one of the most lackluster shoot-em-ups on the system... Ah well, every time I play it, I learn to appreciate the better Saturn shooters even more, such as its vastly-improved sequel, DoDonPachi. It's like watching George A. Romero's Return of the Living Dead, then watching any other zombie movie.
ROBOT UNICORN ATTACK!!!
it's what flash games were invented for.
Yep. That and Nanaca Crash. (highly recommended if by some odd chance you haven't played it yet. The game's ancient, but a goddamn classic.)
-
I don't know about -ancient-.... I have been around these nets since the time of bbs's and when the net was called the information superhighway. lol
But yes, Nanaca Crash is at least on par with if not greater than Robot Unicorn Attack. CLASSIC. :)
Red Steel 1 was so bad. SOOOO BAD. I couldn't justify the second. Is it really that good?
--
I'm somewhere stuck in some horrible loop between dwarf fortress and starcraft 2 at the moment.
-
Red Steel 1 was so bad. SOOOO BAD. I couldn't justify the second. Is it really that good?
That's what made me skeptical at first, too. But it's a completely different game. Different setting (wild west/ samurai crossover fantasy world), and no more "scripted swordfight" bullshit; you can shoot or slash at any time, and learn over-the-top attacks on par with Devil May Cry. The MotionPlus thing makes every sword attack 1:1 for how you're actually moving the Wiimote, and there doesn't seem to be any lag when you're aiming your gun, either. Don't want to fanboy about it, but I just picked it up last week and it's really surprised me so far with how good it is. I hated the first game too, but again, this is basically a completely different game and I'm surprised they even bothered to include "Red Steel" in the title.
-
somehow, one of my friends lured me back into playing MW2... i feel dirty :(
-
Since I'm just a pc gamer...
Mass effect 2 finished without losing anyone. 95% renegade
Elder scrolls IV: Oblivion its fking huge!
Eve online ...shutup
Uplink, don't ask its just a hacking game.
Yes elder scrolls is one of the largest games I've ever played personally, but eve is probably better than aion
-
Yes elder scrolls is one of the largest games I've ever played personally
Notice how with each new Elder Scrolls game, though, the world gets smaller and smaller. Fuck's sake, at this rate we'll have The Elder Scrolls VIII: Someone's Back Yard in no time. :(
-
Yeah I've noticed, but I've been playing league of legends recently
-
I was avoiding playing minecraft, knowing it might eat my soul and watching all of my poor, addicted friends.
Yesterday I helped someone to test out some file hacks to get it working, and somehow now I'm lost in the game....
-
PC--
Meritous, and a bit of Borderlands. I've gotten so tired of Left 4 Dead and Hat Fortress 2. Can't wait for Portal 2, maybe it'll give me some faith in Valve again.
360--
Ketsui Extra, ESPGaluda II Black Label, and Mushihime-sama Futari. Goddamn, I love arcade shoot-em-ups.
PSP--
Project Diva 2nd, and Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory. The latter of which is a half-assed game at best, but I've completed/mastered its vastly-improved sequel, Rengoku II: The Stairway to H.E.A.V.E.N. so thoroughly, I'm starved for more Rengoku gameplay. That's my excuse, at least.
DS--
Mega Man Zero Collection (specifically, I just completed Mega Man Zero 4) and a little bit of Osu Tatakae Ouendan.
PS2--
Silent Hill 2, since Smiles wanted to watch someone play through a Silent Hill game. 4th or 5th time trudging through the game, and I know the puzzle-solving and backtracking will be annoying, but the story is so excellent that I don't care. It's something everyone should experience at least once, even if they're just watching it being played. Also, a little bit of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. Smiles may deny it, but she's slowly getting better at the game. ^^
Wii--
A little bit of everything. Red Steel 2, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, Castle of Shikigami III, and Metroid Prime: Trilogy.
Game Gear--
Recently picked up Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Triple Trouble. I played them each for about 10 minutes, just to try them out. Genesis Sonic is obviously better, but Triple Trouble has some pretty cool level designs and power-ups.

Minecraft! :-*

SC2 and would have been playing Fallout New Vegas, but the damned thing crashes after the intro video... I bought it through Steam. If anyone in here have a sollution to that I'd be most grateful. Because searching the Steam support pages yield nothing useful.
-
14# Game Crashes After First Intro Video
Verify the integrity of the game files.
Or
It may all be happening due to a dll file missing, you can refer to the tutorial below to fix it, exact same problem was with Fallout 3.
* Download d3d9.dll.
* Once its done downloading, drag/drop in to your Fallout New Vegas folder.
* My Games/ Fallout New Vegas/
* Start the game and it should work!
If the game still doesn’t work after placing the dll file, you can refer to the steps below.
* Open “fallout.ini” or fallout_default.ini” and
* Press “Ctrl+F” and type in: SMainMenuMovieIntro=
* Delete: SMainMenuMovieIntro= , SIntroSequence=, sIntroMovie=Fallout INTRO Vsk.bik
* Save and Exit “fallout.ini” or “fallout_default.ini”.
* Go to “data” in your fallout new vegas folder, then videos.
* Find “Fallout INTRO Vsk.bik”, delete and back it up somewhere.
* Play Fallout New Vegas.
You can follow a video walkthrough on how you can do that here with further tips to resolve these issues.
Note. This was for Fallout 3, but works for Fallout New Vegas also, same game engine.
found here: http://segmentnext.com/2010/10/19/fallout-new-vegas-errors-crashes-freezes-fixes/
-
I found that troubleshooting info during my own search, but then I couldn't find the gamefolder... Steam has it's own sub-system for where to put games, but now I found it and can try the first sollution. NMA-Fallout is my friend.
-
Recently found Hidden and Dangerous 2 for the PC in a box so playing that.

Love to play PC games..Call of Duty, NFS and Final Fantasy VII....most favorites game!!!!!!!!
-
I just spent 6 hours straight playing Call of Duty Black Ops at my cousins. It is horrible. The story is extremely badly written, the graphics do nothing but confuse you, the controls are badly mapped, the weapons are poorly balanced and nothing "feels" right at all...
Call of Duty is horrible series. It killed FPS as a fun genre.

i totally agree, especially about the controls/graphics, my friend bought it over for my birthday, could NOT get to grips with it, and i normally rock at shooters (and i mean things like taking out snipers with handguns), give us doom level graphics, aslong as i can tell that whats the guy i gotta shoot and what's a bit of wall, i'm all cool! (althogh it's a shame there was only one decent shooter on the wii and that was up to it's ears in bugs (but i still think that's my and my friends excuse not to play games with the forgone conclution that i win))
-
I usually knew who to shoot based on if they shot at me or was shouting in another accent than I was allied to...
-
On the comp, I shoot at things with a red hud indicator or that looks hostile. Irl I shoot at black dots with black and white rings around or green or brown paper models of soldiers in various positions
-
Sorry can't edit posts on my phone. What is your favourite single player game?

mine would have to be black and white, best game of all time (it would be my favorite mp game if they hadn't shutdown the servers)

I've initiated a Dwarf Fortress succession game in an other forum. It looks like I'm the most expirienced there with my about two days gameplay in total. Seems like it's going to be Fun, in the DF meaning of the word Fun.
-
Call of juarez: bound in blood. the engine they used for the game is absolutely breathtaking.
-
Metroid Prime 1 (Trilogy version, one of the rare Wii games) and Project: Snowblind (PS2) in-between.
-
Metroid Prime 1 (Trilogy version, one of the rare Wii games) and Project: Snowblind (PS2) in-between.
metroid prime trilogy - favorite game of all time,. i has the collectors edition (despite not owning a working wii
-
minecraft & Dawn of War 2 Redemption (Chaos campaign)
-
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (one of the best horror games ever created, don't tell me otherwise)
-
Dragon Age II... for the second time. :-X
-
Airport Madness 2
-
Gotta get back into Metal Gear Solid 3. Or Pokmon black. Or Dynasty Warriors 5. Or Chaos Rings...
What tendency to leave unfinished business ? I don't see what you-ooooh, psychonauts. Shiny.
-
Back into Project: Snowblind after getting a new PS2 controller... again.
-
S4 League (oh god...) and my mouse broke... well, it was "broken" since last 4 months, but my click isn't working and i can't shoot, those basterds get me while standing there.
-
Assassin's Creed brotherhood
-
TF2, L4D1/2 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion, again.
Though I'm trying to cut back on 'frivolous' game playing and get some work done around here.
-
Max Payne 2: Fall of Max Payne (PS2)
-
SWAT 4, Bleach M.U.G.E.N, LiveForSpeed (yes, LIVE, not NEED) and Battle for Wesnoth.
BoW is a really good strategic game, and it has multiplayer, me and a friend looking ppl to play with, so, if you're interested, here you go: http://www.wesnoth.org/
It's free, it's not heavy, easy to play and fun.
Now i'm gonna try Risen, never liked Gothic series, but oh well, who knows. :P
-
Played through Bulletstorm after it came out. Beginning is kinda lame, but the more you play it, the more awesome it gets. Reccommended if FPS is your thing. It doesn't aim to be a realistic or competitive thing. Just plain dumb fun. I'm going to install it again after I get my system back up. The shotgun is glorious :D
-
NOOOO, i want to play that so much! But my pc isn't that good. T_T
I'll have to upgrade! Maybe next week, who knows... Too lazy and busy now.
-
Hah! Thinking back on how much I have used on my computer... Must be around 4500 dollars. The graphics card is the next thing to get upgraded.
-
Aaaaah, Wesnoth. One of the only game at my disposal during my time on Linux. Fun and rather difficult game.
And from what I saw of Bulletstorm, it's so sad. It had plenty of great ideas, but many poor design choices too. Comfortable design choices, mixed with less comfortable, but cool elements. As the saying goes, it has its ass between two chairs. Oh well.
Anyway, on my side, I'm playing Chaos Rings. A Squeenix RPG for the iPhone. Great interface, really pretty, and some good music going on. It's a costly thing, but it's worth it.
-
currently playing "the darkness", which is turning out quite a bit better than i had expected. also scraping cash out of Call of juarez's multiplayer... only 400k left to go :-\
-
Just recently got Fatal Frame in the mail, hoping to play it soon.
-
HoN, as always. Just won a tournament down at the local internet cafe.
and fortress craft... spent waaaay to long on that last night...this morning...kinda mighta sorta went to bed at 6:45am
-
I finished a game called Daniel X: The Ultimate Power for Nintendo DS. Imagine Metroid, but shorter, more linear, and as a beat-em-up.
-
Pretty close to finishing dead space, and American McGee's Alice, And has been building a castle in minecraft.
-
Loved American McGee's Alice. :)
-
I'm really enjoying it, i figured i should play it since madness returns is out this year :D
-
My minecraft castle is a bit on pause, but something that could be fun is to make a multiplayer flipside minecraft server :-P and build a huge castle together!
-
Currently knee deep in bloody Mortal Kombat.... mmmmmm violence!
-
The Darkness (PS3, played it on X360 around 2 years ago). I'm looking forward to the sequel.
-
Oh god, I have been playing so many games this week. I have been attending The Gathering and we have this awesome 100GBit/s connection and all that. Games and computers everywhere! It is absolutely awesome!
-
A little late, but I was playing Shinobi (PS2) yesterday. Stuck on the 4-B boss fight though >:(.
-
Dark Sector, i don't know if it's such a great game, but i got addicted to it, can't stop playing it.
Story so far is so-so, or at least i don't follow. And last thing: character's hair sucks, looks so emo.
Glaive + Power Attack + Controled = PWNAGE ;D
-
Okay, so I'm not *currently* playing it, but I AM currently looking forward to getting Portal2 sometime next week.
Turrets are adorable.
-

Agreed! Dark Sector's a rather fun game (surprisingly).
Anyway, finished "Max Payne 2" (PS2) last night, and I'm on to a Handheld game: "Scurge: Hive" on GBA, which I got 3 days ago.
-
Wild Arms 3
-
Portal 2. RIGHT FREAKIN NOW. *Squeel*
-
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
The models are kinda ugly, but whatever, the game is cool. I can't wait for Skyrim. Vikings!
-
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Yah, first thing I do when playing Elder Scrolls games? Download mod for faces. I mean, I really really do appreciate that they try to make it so that no two NPC's look alike, but... they make them all so damn ugly.
-
That's true, and guess what, when i finished downloading and opened the folder, i found a nude patch that made female models... "sexier". It also made them look naked if you stripped them and took their clothes. Perverted, but realistic in a way, right?
Now i'm trying to get my hands on Fallout New Vegas. Just got an RPG phase or something. :P
-
Playing fallout nv at the moment, I recomend modding some fun stuff into it after playing through it once unmodded :P
ATM there are two Dark Angel space marine seargeants roaming the mojave... be afraid... be very afraid!
Purge the mutant, the unclean, the heretic, suffer not these abominations to live! XD (To bad no one has yet made a chaos marine armor mod... then there would be real reasons for the wasteland to tremble and hide in terror!)
-

Hah yeh, and I bet that was totally unintentional too. :)
-
Hey, when i downloaded, it didn't say anything about the patch, found it when installing. Don't judge me! (?)
Btw, got Fallout NV, just started and seems cool. I liked the wasteland of Fallout 3 more, not the western type, but oh well, i've only just begun, i've gotta explore some more. :P
-
Hum, dum. I am still with minecraft... How about that?
Did you know, it is difficult to run a server?
-
Yea, no kidding. I tried playing a lan server, and it still costed me a lot of work. Got it working, but was pretty laggy, and died when i had everything on me, so lost everything and got too lazy to get it again. :P
-
Rented Singularity for PS3 yesterday and finished it this morning (yup, I was up all night).
-
Team Fortress 2.
Yes, I bought it, but I didn't really play it before now. I do actually feel I missed out :(
-
PORTAL 2!!
beat it in 10 hours, but I'm doing the commentary mode, and co-ops as well.
so awesome.
-
I'm retaking DDO with my brother, and wondering if i should try LOTRO; so far, the answer is "yes".
I'm saving money for a video card, and i'm almost there. I have a list of the games i wanna try, and it goes up to 10 or more. :P
This holidays i'm gonna crawl in my pc, just gaming. ;D
-
Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter (how original) for PS2.
-
Finally got around to Boraderlands, replaying Mass Effect 1 and 2 on PC, in preparation for ME3.
-
Final Fantasy XIII (time I finish it. Not as good gameplay wise as the last one) and Fallout 3 (I finished anyway, but it is so damn good! Love it :-*!!) I've also blew the dust off (literally) Star Trek Elite Force II, it still works on my system.
-
Odin Sphere. Really addictive.
-
Gone back to C&C: Tiberian Sun..............never have been able to complete that game.
-
Me neither. It is horribly designed. So much more thought was put into the Red Alert series.
Now I am alternating between Minecraft and X3: Terran Conflict. Both rather good games and both very slow...
-
About to play some Assassin's Creed on PS3...
-
Mech Commander 2
-
Ok, updating...
Tried the Dead Island, when watching trailers and stuff i was thinking "oh god, that looks amazing", and then the real game came, and, it's not bad, but, kinda disappointed me a bit. I can't put my finger on why, i guess it's cause i can't play any coop. :P
Gatling gears was a rather easy but fun game, blowing sh*t up. Other than that, it's nothing fancy.
Fallout 3. I had to play that game again, it's so good. Besides, using spiked knuckles saves a lot of ammo for when you really need it, like say, a deathclaw or mutants.
Been playing a lot of Minecraft lately, got online with a couple of friends and it's real fun. Also started creating real scale cubes in Creative Mode (like, 1 cube of TNT, made in 16x16x16 cubes of wool, filled with TNT inside. guess what happened when i blew that up XD) Also made a cake this way, and a library. It's quite fun.
What else, what else... Oh right, i downloaded CoD: MW2 because a friend said he and some guys were playing it online. He went on a trip, came back and hasn't told me yet how to connect to them, had the installation of 11GB standing there for half a month...
And then, i'm downloading DA 2 for the second time, and gonna make my third playthrough. I'm just addicted to it.
Guess that's it for now. Heh, i still wish i had more free time for games and anime. :P
-
Playing mainly Space Marine, online, as 'Sons Of Lorgar'
Or magica, a weird satiric fantasy rpg:)
-
Ohhh, magicka is awesome. None of my friends has an enough powerful pc to run it, so i had to play it alone and even on my pc it was a little bit laggy, but it was playable.
I would love to play that in 4 co-op. Plus, i have to get Space Marine, it looks pretty neat.
-
It's very neat, and very smooth in both controls and concept :)
-
Manhunt 2 (PS2)
-
A bunch of Mods for minecraft. Most are still for 1.7.3 so they don't work with 1.8.1 yet, but the ones that do are really cool.
I was attracted to those adds in an anime page and downloaded Karos Online (crappy Lineage II copy if you ask me, i don't think i'll play it anymore) and Cosmic Break, which i haven't tried out yet, but the screens and videos sorta reminds me of Bots (which got hacked, shame) and Megaman Legends. So, i'll see just how much it reminds me of them to be playable or not. :P
-
Battlefield 3 Beta! :D
-
Fallout New Vegas, Assassins Creed Brotherhood.
-
Ultima V (Seems I'm stuck in 1998)
-
Ratchet: Deadlocked (PS2, fun as hell game!)
and
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PS2, respective subtitle: Operation Ressurection)
-
Fallout; New Vegas. I started a new game because I wanted a "better" ending that did not involve making Veronica shun me.
-
Fallout; New Vegas. I started a new game because I wanted a "better" ending that did not involve making Veronica shun me.
Oh, and Team Fortress 2, a funny game, but frustrating as hell when working with other people (does no one ever believe in working together, because that's how this game is meant to work.)
-
Everyone tries to work together, but in their own way :P
I have been playing Battlefield 3 today. First impression, pretty polished. Lots of choices and generally just good. If you like FPS games, take a look. It is even less demanding than most other FPS games in the same class.
-
Well i'm out of PC so i'm stuck with this one, that doesn't have many games, it's not mine so i can't instal anything, and even if i could, they wouldn't run. :P
So, i've been playing some less demanding games, Minecraft and Stronghold 2.
-
I'm playing mods of civilization 4. Or well modmods or well... Modmodmods... Yeah...
-
Kicking loyalist ass and taking names in Space Marine :P
-
Anybody got their hands on Skyrim yet? :P
I'm dying to play it. Too bad that even if i fix my pc, is not powerful enough to run it... Better start saving money...
-
The Punisher (PS2)
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (PS2)
-
I just got invited into the closed beta of Path of Exile. If you liked Diablo 2 or at least found it interesting, then I highly recommend checking out this game. When it launches it will be free to play so you really have no excuse to try it :P
-
Assassin's Creed Revelations
-
I have been playing star wars: the old republic. Really good, bioware storytelling on a wel made
-
I want to play that so much. T.T But i ain't paying. :P
Got the whole Zelda series, up to Twilight Princess, that is for wii, so i don't think i can get emulators of that and above. :P
Currently playing A Link to the Past in SNES. :3
Aside from that, WoW, and nothing else really. :P
-
I'm gona be contraversial and say i prefer TOR to WoW
-
Yes, i did saw videos and i think it's a really good game, though i'll always love wow.
Besides, if TOR makes any private servers or any means of F2P, i'd love to play it. XD
-
Free servers are usually bad as people cheat on them a lot.
And i hope it dosen't go f2p, as games that do attract a lot of immature players.
-
Well, yes, that's true, but still, i preffer my WoW private server. :P
Besides, i mostly don't play P2P games cause i don't have any source of income. I might get a job next week or later, maybe i'll consider paying for TOR.
-
Well if you do i'll play with you if you roll on my server :p
-
Sure! Too bad i didn't get the job. Boohoo, sad story... moving on!
I might start playing LoL with some guildies from my wow server. :) That is, of course, if this thing that calls itself a "PC" can run it...
-
I can't run LoL :(
-
I'me on a nostalgia trip, playing HoMM3 while my internet connection at home is down! XD
-
I can't run LoL :(
You can run SW:ToR but not LoL? I'm screwed. XD
-
I steal my mm's laptop to play tOR
-
EVE online
and to all of you Mass Effect fans dont play mass effect 3. They ruin the story with the last 10 minuts of play.
My first reaction http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0a4oZGwxtCU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0a4oZGwxtCU)
and now i will let a truely horrible man explain how i feel about it http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=b33tJx8iy0A (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=b33tJx8iy0A)
all this said you should realy try EVE online
-
Any fans of old style first person dungeon crawlers? I got Legend of Grimrock a while back and am hooked.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzIiXx-8BHc
-
Huh, that legend of grimrock looks like it might keep the spirit of old school fp crawlers.
I've been playing on a minecraft server in place of sleep lately
-
It is a very good update of a genre that has been dead for quite some time. I'm waiting for custom maps to come out though :/
-
I have been playing some EVE Online lately, but I moved and now the internet is shit for a few days. I don't dare log on in fear of losing my stuff in the current war our corp is in.
So now I am burying my head in Lua tutorials and programming a network switch for use in Minecraft :D
-
After playing Dark Souls, it's hard to find anything new to play that doesn't pale in comparison...
-
What about d3, anyone? I haven't played it since poking at the closed beta ages ago, but I'll probably start up a character
-
the facebook app version of Angry birds
-
What about d3, anyone? I haven't played it since poking at the closed beta ages ago, but I'll probably start up a character
As much as I was determined to ignore it...Well, I'll be honest, the more I hear, the more and more tempted I am to buy it.
-
Just finished my third playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins. That game has completely ensnared me. It's up there with Shadow of the Colossus on my favourite list now, and has beaten FFX in amount of playthroughs.
-
playing nothing apart from Delete the Spammer(s). :'( :-\
-
Whenever my computer works properly, I am playing Diablo 3. It is turning out to be a pretty good game.
-
I don't have any interest in Diablo 3, but Dragon's Dogma looks kind of interesting... I doubt it will live up to Dark Souls, but it at least looks fun.
-
John Woo's Straglehold (PS3) and Soldier of Fortune (PS2)
-
Just got hooked on World Of Tanks as sonsoflorgar84 (if anyone cares to play with me)
-
Tried it but would not work for some reason so left.
-
Star Wars: The Old Republic {MMORPG - free account}, Star Trek - Online {free account}, World of Warcraft {free account}, Champions Online {free account}, Tera: Fate of Arun, Warframe, Aion, a lot of Vindictus {very pretty game}... and some Scarlet Blade ...just for laughs!
