Okay, I've decided to go with the "You are all my food" concept for my first Flipside T-Shirt. Here are some designs I whipped up:

So, opinions? Which ones of these do you like the best, which the least? Which would you be more likely to consider wearing, which would you buy?

Well *trying to imagine what they'll really look like* probably the third one (with the scythe), or the first one. Would the one with the scythe have the speech bubble in it or was that more of a concept thing

The second and third ones I like the best.

I erased the speech bubble from the 3rd one, thinking that it would've been dumb.

I like the second one and the first one, but mostly the second one! It just so... Bad Ass! :-*

Pic2: BELOW EYES EVIL GRIN
Pic3: FULL BACK WITH SCYTHE
Pic4: SHAKING/POINTING FINGER
Pic5: FRONT ON (Leonardo's 'man' style)
PREFERENCE:Pic3: just love the scythe and the torn clothes, with an over the shoulder look
Pic2: love this evil and knowing smile that avoids the eyes but we miss the scary claws
Pic5: Just a classic good look at whats wanting to eat you but maybe a bit boring with no pose
Pic4: Doesn't look that threatening but maybe more detail in the final of the face will sell it.
Pic1: Just looks annoyed rather than threatening and evil.
POSSIBLE SUGGESTIONS: crouched down in her cave, surrounded by bones/body parts

Overall, of the 5 shown, I think Pic3 really hits it though. That whole body look with all the scars, the scythe the fangs and yet almost aluring with her full figure. It's just full WIN for me.

If he was going to put the caption in the third he would definitely have to remove the "you are all my food" from the bottom of the picture. Otherwise it would end being repetitive

I agree. But I think Brion's made the right call to exclude the speach bubble in favour of a caption. I gues, if he wanted, he could have "YOU ARE ALL" at the top and "MY FOOD" at the bottom but I think either all would work.
HA! I think I just realised that my favorite Mary pose is the same as my favorite Maytag pose, turned from a back view and holding a weapon:

EDIT: I guess he could put Mary's left hand in the same position as Maytag's right hand, but holding a partly eaten human limb. *shrug*

Yeah, but thinking on it, a limb could be a bit too gory as well for some buyers, maybe a bone instead, or something less... Fleshy.
Flexing her left hand's claws could work just as well. With the speach bubble gone it probably just needs a little something to fill that gap.
*meh* Brion's the artist and heck, that image already looks good enough that I'd buy it on a shirt. As before, one of the things it has which the others don't is a strangely alluring look to Mary as well as the obvious danger parts in the scars, clothes, scythe and evil grin with fangs and ratty hair.

I like the second Mary design. It's awesome, how she smiles make her look less sad and more mad and scary. More "Mary as a bloodthirsty monster" and less "Mary as the pitiful unhappy girl we know her for now". It's so awesome with a psychopath smile and the text "You are all my food!".
Maytag is so sexy.

I agree with Charles. Mary holding a limb would definately give that pic the extra "edge" it needs.
These two pics in Charles's post would probably be your best bets, Brion.

I think the second one with the grin and teeth captures best the essence of that line. Also, probably most likely something I would wear.

Charles, I think he meant second to last, not second. That's two votes for Pic4 and six votes for Pic2.
And I like Pic4, too, but that might be because I see it as the best drawn one. I can't tell how they're supposed to look, so I'm just not gonna vote.

I like pic #4 'cause it's mock 'Uncle Sam wants YOU'. Maybe if the You was above it'd be closer to the idea...
Unless it wasn't supposed to look like that in which case I take what I said back.
I like pic #2 as well; nothing better than an evil grinning Mary. <3
As for least favorite I'd say pic #5. The lack of pose kinda deters me from it.
c: I'd personally buy a kickass Bern shirt, but that's just me.

I want to clarify a bit, I don't like 2 as a whole, just the expression. I think it'd look good on the third one.

Only if the head comes in a box with a border, though. That shot would look weird on a t-shirt if the edges just... ended with nothing to stop them. I particularly like how it would look if the image of BM's head was bordered by a box and the text was right where it was, outside and underneath said box.

Yeah, I like #2, or more specifically, something like a combo of 1 and 2. I just really like Mary's eyes, she has crazy eyes and I would really like to see that quote with her looking psychopathic/cute.

I dunno, I don't really like to think about her as being cute. I like her crazy/psycho/scary side a lot better.
#3 is my favorite, because it's also sexy in addition to being scary.

Hmm ... I think the best design would be the expression of 2, combined with the pose of 3, but with the pointing like 4.

I'm not sure the smile works as well if she's not facing the front. Over the shoulder like that doesn't quite say "you, specifically, the person across from me, are dead".

I'd suggest hiding the eyes below the hair and some shading. But I actually like her eyes.

@Brion: I'd suggest you have a competition for best T-Shirt design, but there could be copyright and ownership crap to deal with (even if they are your characters).

@Brion: made a call on the T-Shirt design or waiting for more comment on it? Looks like image 2 of the original picture where she said "you are all my food" and image 3, the over-shoulder look with the scythe, are the most popular.
