So, I decided it was time for me to make a truth thread. This will inevitably end up in a barrage of silly and stupid questions. Also some socks.

Favourite calibres: Depends on use. .338 lapua is nice for long range. 25mm for anti material. 6.8mm SPC for assault rifles or general use and 5,7mm for pistol use.
Favourite firearm: Depends on use, but as an all-rounder, the AK-47 does the job nicely. It is the rifle to depend your life on.
Favourite action: You would have to specify. Long action/short action. Double action/single action. Bolt action/semi-auto/auto. Piston action/gas action/recoil action.
Favourite pistol: FN Five Se7en
Favourite sniper rifle: Barret XM109
Favourite carbine: IMI TAR21 Tavor
Favourite machine gun: Mk 48
Bolt type: Closed. One reason only really. Weapons are supposed to handle dirty environments and open bolt systems get dirty because the chamber is open.
9mm Parabellum: Si vis pacem, para bellum.
.30 =/= 7.62 NATO. Reasoning is that 7.62 NATO specifies cartridge length. However, bullet diameter is the same.
Flintlock. But I don't really care for either.
I own a single gun. A Schultz and Larsen Classic in 6,5x55mm. Got a Schmidt & Bender Classic at 1,5-6x40 on it. Shoots really good and it is a nice rifle.
I want all the guns in the world, but sadly, Norwegian laws does not really permit so. I have to use airsoft guns to fiddle with for now. Can be fantastic fun that though and I would not give up airsoft even if I could get my hands on some cooler real guns :P
Best thing to attach to a gun would be a magazine or an optic. But if you were thinking of attachments, optic :P
