Title: Sketches/CG, both old and new. (some NSFW)
Post by: Zweihander on September 16, 2010, 07:03:53 pm: Posting some of my older artwork (both pencil sketches and CG-colored images), and possibly some newer stuff if I can break out of this "artist's block" I'm stuck in. Keep in mind some of these pics are ancient, so while constructive criticism is appreciated, and while my artistry is far from perfect to this day, I'm fully aware that some of these will look like crap. ^^;

Thanks. :) Actually, that one's always been my favorite, if I had to choose one amongst the pictures I've drawn. Serial Experiments Lain still holds a special place in my heart. One of my all-time favorite anime series.

Thank you, and thank you. ^^ I really do need to draw some new stuff, though. I've got some ideas... ;D

EDIT: Here's the finished version of that pic for Smiles. (she got it a few weeks ago, I just neglected to post it here)

Admittedly, it feels like I've gotten rusty at coloring, and even worse at shading. :< I've lost my game...

Post by: charles on June 30, 2011, 12:51:58 am: Loving it. I also love the earlier pic of the angel and devil in the girl's ear. The burning halo above the devil is a great touch. I like the suggestion that its possibly a fallen angel and that the halo links back to that but is on fire, much like the "bat" wings also link to the angels with their feather wings.
