I just realised, Today is the 12 month anniversary of my arrival in the UK.
To all those that helped me through - Thank you.

You can bet on the month of failure or a year of success. C'mon people, place yer bets, wadda ya think? When will he fail or do ya think he'll succeed? Do I have any bets for Feburary? Febuary's free people, step up and put yer money down. ;)

I bet he'll fail in each of the next 12 months! In very small ways or at things he's not actually trying to do such as failing to cut his toenails before they get too long or failing to eat three servings of fish at each meal.

Oh, I dunno about that - I beat the english winter last year, in a shitty, draughty student house, where the boiler was broken for most of the winter - it only worked for about 2 weeks at the start, and maybe 3 weeks in spring.

Because Australia is so thick with seriously hostile insects and animals that it's close to attempted suecide to go there unless native?

So in other wards its a nice place to visit but not to stay? come to think of it I've got family down there.
