This is the thread for discussing the hotness of intermission 13.
-
So Bern smacks them purely for thinking May is hot? Yay logical thought processes!

Of course Bern wants to be the hottest. The women are all alike.
*Gaaah, where do all these bricks come from?*
-
Welcome to the intermissions. Well, they are talking about HER Maytag *lol*
At least Crest angles it a little better by complementing her personality.
-
Thats what we need....more bricks ;D ;D
-
Everything about Maytag is hot. :D
-
It occurs to me that you could make a killing selling official Flipside bricks. XD
-
So Berns's fave weapons are bricks and swords...sweet
-
If she were in a fight game, swords would be the main weapon, Bricks the throwing and Toasters as a super-special-secret-move that requires hitting various directions, a few buttons and in the case of the Wii, performing a back flip to activate.
-
Hm, I'm gonna have to go against the grain here and say that I think Suspiria is hands down the hottest. May is cute, Bern is nice, but Suspi definitely has the 'it' factor :D

THE FLIPSIDE BRICK
(some assembly required)
Instructions
1. Set Brick on flat surface covered with newspaper.
2. Paint half of brick black.
3. Paint half of brick white.
4. Watch it dry.

I want to play this game.
-
yep sounds like fun
-
I would say Bernadette represents Meletus, and the bricks represent the jury that convicted me. Maytag's hotness of course can be compared to many ideas of my philosophy. I focused a lot on jesters in my philosophy, but Plato neglected to write those thoughts down, the slacker.
Edit: Also, just found and read through the archive, I'd imagine it'll be a much different experience now that I'll read a chapter every couple months now, rather than several dozen in a weekend (counting book 0).
-
What would Heidegger say about this then socrates?
-
I don't know, he was after my time.
-
Looking at the intermission again.. I love the smirking expression on Crest's face. He's got such a fun hidden personality.
-
The secret crest is alot cooler then the one he shows the world. He needs to come out of his shell dammit!
-
I don't know. I think it's funnier when it comes as a shock to everyone around him. The smart cat doesn't let on that he is sort of deal.
People underestimating you is a great advantage.

Your Cute! :-* [turns back to akashayi so she can backstab for times 4 damage :o/]
-
I think Bern has taken things to far by dropping a boulder on them today....or was that Suspiria?
-
Well. Marry, Boff, Kill. Who's guessing Suspira for the Kill? But what will they hit 'em with?
Maybe Maytag's big arse *PMSL*
Then again, Maytag has used the dimensional bag in offence.
-
I was hoping for some kind of "new character introduction" intermissions, like we had with Mary and Suspiria before...
And this comedy duo show is lame, someone needs to tell Mary that she needs to eat another intermission characters ;)
-
Well Maybe Maytag will tell Mary to sick these two if they keep it up.
-
Awww. I want a pet demon cannibal girl I can sick on people I didn't like.
-
...I thought you were a Demon cannibal girl :o
-
I thought it was vaugley intresting. Espeshally Suspira's reaction.
-
let's see bricks....boulder....what next? a planet to be dropped on some one?
-

I happen to know that nice spell called "thermonuclear blast". Want me to cast a locked version for Maytag with the activation line "don't dis the Bag"? ;D
-
Silly Suspiria, the characters haven't known you that long, so they don't really know how you'd do in a long term relationship. They also have no clue if you can cook or anything, and being able to do household basics is something of which both parties in a marriage should be slightly capable.
-
Well, she helped her parents out in their restaraunt until she was at least 13 years old, so she'd probably have some cooking experience and general tasks in such an establishment also involve cleaning, etc.

naw too cliche a comet would be ideal... lolz
must be bash on crest time or something lol.
-
I wonder who's more powerful between Glyph and Suspira... I'm guessing Suspira but Glyph probably knows a good few spells she doesn't (mostly concerning the ability to look through clothing, etc)
I wonder if either of them knows how to make permanently enchanted items such as Grant/Bern's sword and Maytag's daggers and potions, etc.

Point taken, but while it's a good possibility Glyph might know about Suspiria's past, I somewhat doubt she told Crest her life story while they had alone time, and Crest was the one voicing his opinion on who'd make a good wife. Given the information he has, I'd likely make the same call as he on the wife question, although I do think Suspiria is hotter.
-
I like Bern'slist. Especially the lon gap, Maytag, then a long time nothing, then the only other real choice she has.
I wouldn't make assumptions aubout what the characters know about each other with intermission knowledge.
-
That was disapointing no bricks, boulders or anvils :(

I already overuse that joke as it is...!
-
Geez, poor Crest! It's not surprising that Suspiria would put him after Kin, but Maytag put him last! I would have expected him to be at least number 3 or 4 on Maytag's list.
-
I feel bad for Crest. :(
He got picked after the potential sex pervert.
Bad Call Maytag! You dissapiont me on this one! >:(
-
Well Glyph does have nice eyes...maybe May thinks Crest is too young? Seems she's not attracted to him much at all. She would have given him the chance to lose his virginity with her, but maybe that was gonna be a mercy boink.
I'm just glad that Suspiria wasn't last on someone's list. She's pretty cute.
haha though "Men are icky."
-
Sorry Brion....was in a strange cartoon violence mood when i posted that.
-
Well Crest is sweet and all but I'd say Maytag has done the whole 'initiate a virgin' thing before, so knowing that he's probably clumsey in bed, etc she'd find Glyph far more interesting since he's much less bashful and probably more perverse and bold.
Crest is just a little too depressing at times. Noble as well, which is probably the quality in him that she likes, but still depressing.
Actually... reading the question again, she's asking who's hottest, not who they like personally the most or who they'd marry. I guess Glyph is just more attractive in her opinion.

But Maytag likes perverted people!
-
heh I think Suspiria is just jealous that Maytag didn't put her before Kin in the who's hottest list. ;D :P
-
nothing like a bit of perversion in the morning
-
Bern answered as expected.
Suspiria too, which gives a little chance for maybe some Suspiria/Crest moments, which I would want to happen.
As for May,well I'm rather a bit surprised she didn't put Umber on it instead of Suspiria,or rather she should put Umber before Crest,so men/women count would match ;)
-
@Kiran: I think they were only rating those in the 'party' currently... Although Kin did get a mention *shrug*
-
How come BrionF is a Flipside "male" character?
Crustaceans (Crustacea) are a very large group of arthropods, comprising almost 52,000 described species, and are usually treated as a subphylum. They include various familiar animals, such as crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill and barnacles.
...
Crest still is in the closet,he really needs someone to open him up...
-
he did look pretty nervous didn't he? :P
-
Orransong hotter than Crest and Dirk? Well, I would suppose Dirk is more relaxed in sexual terms than these two.
Personally I would have rated Voulger higher. He is crazy and dangerous, but that doesn't go in the way of hotness IMHO.
So, does anyone else here have personal lists?
-
Who was Dirk? I can't remember...
-
Umber's lover/husband/whatever I think?
-
Oh yeah...his hair was too curly for me :P
-
Orransong needs to become a meme. Or something.

'Cos he's not just any lobster, he's *insert trumpet fanfare* LOBSTER BOY!
What about Derricks? *shrug*
Love how crest moves to the other side of Maytag. HaHa, go Glyph, we love you now mate.
-
Well, if any male characters (including some very, very, very dead ones like Voulger) (necrophilia, ick!) can be rated for hotness, we're forgeting a few from book zero. Like, Zed's guard #1 (http://www.flipsidecomics.com/comic/book0/fs16pg01.html) He SURE knows how to fall for a lady! :P
-
So what's his face is a bisexual.
NICE! >:(
