Yes, this is all what actually happened in the campaign. They did actually take that dude's blood in a test tube vial. In case you're wondering where they get the vials, we decided to let Heather's character start with an "alchemist kit" which lets her produce and endless amount of vials. It's useful for collecting liquids or whatever.

This comic is based upon our actual DND campaign. These are the players: Jennifer, Tetsuya, Heather, Phil, Caleb, and Christie. Some of those people come into the campaign later, as you'll see. It's been awhile now since we've had the chance to continue our game... some of the key players have been busy. So for now, the livestreams are discontinued. But there is a ton of material for the comic, so it'll go on for quite awhile.
